That looked like such a nice venue. People on this website always going on about his ticket sales are such a drag to me. Anybody who attends somewhere to see him sing in more intimate surroundings with a smaller audience than usual, or smaller than anticipated, or smaller than whatever, don’t even know HOW lucky they are! I treasure all my smallest venue shows that I’ve been to see him in so highly, and so far above and beyond any and all the other shows.

He sounds so good, it hurts. Concerts that I’m not at in person just make me chronically Morrissey parched. It’s quite a grave diagnosis to have to live with.

People, people, people. It is just the same half-assed songs over and over and I get more steps in, in my Lazy-Boy than Morrissey does on stage. It is like he is gingerly walking around, trying not to step on glass or something. Yawn.

For a half filled venue, he seems to be quite animated and in good spirits! Don’t think he f-ing cares! :lbf:

Except:
"Morrissey undertakes a largely sold out tour of the USA in November.
Marr continues to tour as a special guest to New Order."

He cares, as much as he doesn't want to admit it. I love Moz, but the same fans who were making fun of jm over Morrissey statement, now play dumb with two of the half sold shows 😉

I am shocked. SHOCKED that he played this show.

Low ticket sales were the first red flag.

Stage invasion with injured security guard (did we ever figure out if he is okay?).

Morrissey being Morrissey....

He regained a bit of trust from me.
The security guard was there, but on crutches. He stayed in the back and provided the flashlight for when the band entered or exited the stage.

He seems to be playing mostly 1500 t0 2500 capacity theatres, which is bad when other bands do it, but cozy and intimate when Morrissey does it

watching the videos is enough to make the fair speculation that he’s enjoying himself, regardless of the situation. If you can’t see it, then you are the one that’s playing dumb.

It hasn't been mentioned yet, but he made a joke about Sarah Huckabee Sanders (Arkansas' current Governor) saying that she was there to greet him when he arrived in Little Rock and complimented him on his song, 'Brown Eyed Girl'. Got a pretty good laugh out of the audience after a smattering of boos when he first mentioned her name. He was fairly talkative throughout the night. Also asked if we were planning on voting tomorrow (Election Day in U.S.). Someone yelled out, "Voting for you!" and he replied he's not on the ballot...yet. Then he said along the lines of, "I've never, ever, ever voted in any election in my life...it's true! But tomorrow's election is important, don't you think?"

Plenty of stage invaders throughout the show since there were no barriers and the stage is fairly low to the floor. Everyone was respectful and gentle though, including the security. A few young kids also made it on stage. All in all a lovely show. Just wish he'd get rid of that ending video. It's disturbing and unnecessarily triggering for anyone who's gone through a suicide of a loved one or is dealing with those thoughts themselves. Why end a joyous night like that?
