Yes! That's him!
I stood next to Doug in a front row 10 years ago (where did all those years go???) at one of the concerts, then I had a few words with him after the gig . Quite a nice guy. :thumb:

True to say , one of the best day of my life , the best Morrissey gig i've ever been .
I keep telling myself I managed to make Morrissey laugh when I threw one of the security guards off the stage . The good old days, unfortunately, will never come back. But memories remains

Agreed. I'm hoping he will post some of the things that he recorded. I'm sure he has the moment Morrissey took my note and shook my hand. Sounds silly but I'd love to see it

In my opinion, nothing on "World Peace.. or "Low In.." compares to "Kill Uncle"

I don't even care if King Leer contains his worst ever lyric ("Your boyfriend he",..).
"There are explosive kegs between my legs" = his worst lyrics Ever.

Even Alain Whyte was mortified when he heard them.

I agree in a way, but they makes me laugh every time for some reason when I hear it along with "mammary glands".

I actually love World Peace Album though - have two pressings of that one - both UK & US -
Kill Uncle Side B I love too - it is such a dynamic sounding record.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with doug via socials of any sort?!!

What's the source for the Alain comment, if it's an interview I'd love to read or hear it haha. I love that line, it's something only Moz would write.
I actually asked him on his Facebook page (not a private message). He openly said that it was (I think he said, it was a few years ago) "repulsive". His response was on his page for maybe a day then it was taken down. Not long after he had rekindled his relationship with Morrissey and ended up rejoining his band.
