I stopped watching after "right wing xenophobe". Moronic.

we should try to be tolerant of such people. Anyway, he doesn’t seem too far lost.

Watched again to the end. Remember now the prof's enthusiasm, can relate so much to his description of how important Moz has been for him. Great he caught such a great show with his daughter enjoying it too.

@Vesper Nocturne

at first I was like, ok I can’t watch this, and then I found myself watching it all. Not always correct, but funny at points. Though it’s his description of his 16 year old daughter’s experience of her first Morrissey show that was really great, and his reaction to her response.

Don’t doubt it folks, Morrissey is winning over younger fans and he, his art, will live forever.

🤍
How great that his daughter (unexpectedly) said it was the best concert she'd ever been to and she cried throughout Life is a Pigsty. If you don't feel like watching the whole thing - watch the last few minutes, from about 45 mins. Morrissey still has the ability to move all sorts of people with his art, that's why I love him. I can't wait to take my daughters to see him on his next UK or European tour.

What freaking babies. That would have pissed me off. 😅
That is a very strange sounding experience. Like they have any authority. It would be different if a security guard said something.

I had a somewhat similar experience in Vegas (8/2/24) my first time seeing Moz live. A very large, round woman came and stood to my left, and I was dancing, singing, having a blast; zoned into the music. I was extremely cramped on all sides, as was everyone else. She kept pulling me out of my trance to yell in my ear, "you need to settle down!!" and "Stand still!!" While also purposefully elbowing me in the arm and standing on my foot. I was trying my best to stay in my own bubble, dancing in a narrow, vertical way (more jumping than anything), I was careful not hit anyone or step on any ones feet, but she kept on pushing me, hurting me and scolding me. I eventually just started putting my hand up to her face to denote, "STFU" when she would get super close to my ear to scold me some more. We are at a CONCERT lady, in the PIT. She simply wasn't suited to be down there. I didn't let her ruin my night, it was still an absolute blast. She did eventually give up, but that's because I tried to slowly worm my way up away from her.
Oh, and before you say, "She was pushing you because the crowd behind her was pushing her" the crowd behind her were standing like statues every time I looked behind me... So no. She expected me to also be a statue. I only saw me and 1 other lady around me that was dancing and having a great time. I thought that was very strange. Everyone appeared dead inside.

I have balcony seats for the concert on Friday. I hope people don't give me crap for standing at the railing. In Vegas there were tons of people standing at the railing up in the balcony. I don't see a problem with it.
You represent what is wrong with this generation. A bunch of entitled brats with no consideration for others. Everyone behind you with their view blocked while you are standing at the rail paid for their SEAT, and believe it or not many would like to actually sit in it. Many people cannot or do not want to stand for 1.5 hours. If you want to stand, buy a ticket in the pit, but don't stand at the rail (or in any other row) ruining the show for everyone behind you.

Huh? I wasn't at a rail, I was in the pit.. standing. Everyone else was standing, there were no seats.

You clearly stated your intention to stand at the rail of the balcony this Friday. And your initial post was in support of someone else who did stand in the balcony annoying those around her. I stand by my comments

Yeah, and if you read my comments on other threads about me "standing at the railing," I've been fighting with the decision to do so or not to do so.
No need to be rude, Sir/Madam.
You have the right to stand by your comments, while I figure out if I'll stand at the railing on Friday. 😏

I honestly probably won't. I can sit like a good little obedient gurl with my hubby. I don't want ditch him. I'm just an antsy girl that likes to sing and dance.
