I'm from hell , look at me

Morrissey once claimed that before every show he has to go over repeatedly in his mind the lyrics to remember them. I think you can imagine how stressful that is or would be to do every night simply to please those on the internet.

I think at this point in time he’s trying to look out for his health, less stress, and make these shows happen for the people that are going.
That's interesting. I don't ever remember reading that. I appreciate your thoughtful analysis. If he's finding a way to make things work, we should all be grateful.

Yes I remember reading maybe in Autobiography he mentioned a bit about getting focused just before going on stage, going over some of the trickier lyrics.

Hmmm. Thank you. I should really reread Autobiography. I've been thinking that for a while now. I read it and listened to the audiobook when it came out, but haven't since. I know there's things I forgot.

@Vesper Nocturne

at first I was like, ok I can’t watch this, and then I found myself watching it all. Not always correct, but funny at points. Though it’s his description of his 16 year old daughter’s experience of her first Morrissey show that was really great, and his reaction to her response.

Don’t doubt it folks, Morrissey is winning over younger fans and he, his art, will live forever.

liked the hawk at 4 minutes,thought it was whistling a morrissey tune.
his wall of smiths flyers at the end is super impressive.
all in all it was a good watch and him and his 16 year old daughter enjoying it so so much will be something both will never forget.

The Loop from the balcony

He goes on quite a bit at the beginning of the video about Morrissey being a misanthrope. I don't think that's accurate. The globalist corporations are the ones who hate the human race. Pushing mass immigration, social control and surveillance, and trans human technology. Morrissey has always spoken up for a better future for the human race. Always spoken up for the individual against the authoritarian state. He has misanthropic traits, perhaps. Most introvert 'artist' types do. And, let's be honest, there is much about the human race that is not to be admired. But does he hate the human race? Absolutely not. He has always argued for human beings to become something better than what they currently are. That comes ultimately from love, not from hate. As demonstrated on California Son, Moz is at heart a 'flower power' hippy.

Certainly not trying to get anyone’s hopes up, but maybe they’re playing the same songs over and over and over so they can release a new live record and would pull the “best” from various shows. Only reason I can think of.
Who would want a live album of this setlist? The reason they're playing the exact setlist night after night is pure laziness.
