His haters would love that.Total dog whistle. Moz is now a huge Trumper.
I don't understand that mentality. I assume most people know what he looks like now. He is old now. Misrepresenting oneself is a big deal, in my opinion.Maybe he doesn't like looking old, who does? at worst, it is a bit of marketing.....the pressure to look young. But I don't see the big deal though.
casual fans prefer the weekend.

...The massacre at Wounded Knee has much better current parallels than the assassination attempt on the Donald (assuming that's the reference). The obvious one to me is the ethnic cleansing being perpetrated by a U.S.-supported-and-financed state which Morrissey once wrote a love song for.
Make America Gay Again?
I think if he wants to get back on track and rehabilitate his image, he should refrain from talking about anything political. I also think he'd look a bit insincere condemning the shooting when he once said he would kill Trump if he could.Whatever Moz has said and done in the past, I think he's right to condemn the shooting. Don't you?
Yes. Heaven forbid anyone express condolences to a guy who was shot in the f***ing head.I was fearing something pro Trump. Even though we are all wounded, in a way, when a politician is attacked. Our democracy is wounded. Maybe that’s why he chose this headline.
If you had any reading skills beyond the mere rudimentary, you would know that I too am against the shooting. “Our democracy is wounded”, I said.Yes. Heaven forbid anyone express condolences to a guy who was shot in the f***ing head.
Morrissey's entire career has been about the outsider which goes some way to him expressing sympathy for some of those people. It would make sense. I don't get why Moz would be a fan of people like Nigel Farage, Anne Marie Waters, Douglas Murray, Tommy Robinson, Styxhexenhammer666, Russell Brand etc, yet at the same time have such a big hatred of Trump. Unless he just hates him for eating MacDonald's all the time?![]()
Good.Total dog whistle. Moz is now a huge Trumper.
You don't classify Trump as an outsider? He's as outsider as you get. Who gives a shit whether he's rich or not? Trump has more in common with Morrissey than he care's to realise. Targeted law fare, persecution, lies and now attempted assassination and it won't end there.Morrissey's entire career has been about the outsider which goes some way to him expressing sympathy for some of those people.
Trump, with his inherited wealth, is a long way from the kind of outsiders that Morrissey normally feels a kinship with.
I wouldn't class anyone who is favorite to be the next president as an outsider. And his wealth is entirely relevant as that is what enabled him to be in the position he is in.You don't classify Trump as an outsider? He's as outsider as you get. Well Trump is an outsider within the context of that political jungle he stepped into in 2016. He was never a politician. He used to be a democrat but entered the race as a republican which then triggered the old skool republicans who hate him because he tore shit up. That's the outsider vibe I'm referring to.I wouldn't class anyone who is favorite to be the next president as an outsider. If Morrissey ever does start to express any affinity for Trump, though, I have no doubt it will be due to him feeling that way to some degree.
Andrew Tate has expressed this very well I think. First, they try to discredit you and call you words ending in -ist. Then they try to put you in jail. Then they try to kill you. They have tried all 3 with Trump.Well Trump is an outsider within the context of that political jungle he stepped into in 2016. He was never a politician. I highly doubt that Morrissey will ever express any love for Trump. He's said quite the opposite and I don't see him flipping the table over and upsetting the fans that way. I couldn't care less whether he does or not. I just want some new music from him.
I was just going to say. This is pitch-black stuff. Even worse than expected. We’re well down the rabbit hole when we’re using Andrew Tate to defend Donald Trump!
