I don't think he was, but you're absolutely right, these loathsome manosphere grifters are all cut from the same few cookie cutter molds. "Heterodox" gays like Dave Rubin and this Ben Kawaller fellow are the gateway grifters.

On one level, you're right: it shouldn't be a problem. If pundits and "influencers" can be shills for Israel, and if our own politicians can take Israeli money filtered through AIPAC, then let other pundits and "influencers" be shills for Russia if they want, paid or not. What it does however show is the level of naïveté on these persons that they would be duped by an obviously fictional persona created by the Kremlin.

It is also true that only white people seem to go in for what you have aptly called "ethno-masochism." But what does that tell you about white people? Nietzsche thought the tendency toward self-flagellation came from Christianity, and some of the Xtian ideas are there in so-called "wokeism": the stain of original sin, guilt, redemption through self-abasement, &c.

Now a certain someone on Twitter is probably going to say, "it only took six pages for the Kathy Burke thread on the fan forum to segue into racism."

Good catch. It must've been J.K. Rowling for sure, because on a BBC list of Eight things we learned about Kathy Burke on Woman’s Hour, no.2 is that "she’s [sic] hasn’t eaten meat for 30 years." No date on the article, but she would've begun in the 80s or 90s. I wonder if Meat Is Murder had anything to do with it.

Kathy’s a vegetarian and has never eaten McDonalds or KFC, despite claiming she looks “like I’m constantly at the kebab shop”. She’s happy that there’s now more choice food wise when it comes to vegetarianism/veganism - but prefers it when people don’t just “chuck seeds in everything”.

Burke's comments weren't very witty or necessary at all. But Morrissey too has a habit of saying very cruel and tasteless things about the people he doesn't like, so legal threats coming from him don't really look on him, especially with all his "freedom of speech" mantras.

In this day and age, I find these people tediously boring. Its like they are claiming moral superiority by saying "look at me, I'm so much better" when really she showed promise but has never really achieved much since the 90s. She's now like a stuck record professing her hatred of someone who once gave her exposure. She is sitting in her little council flat growing ever bigger and more embittered. If she wants to sound off about racism, she should direct it at her fellow countrymen in Ireland. Not at one man who she knows nothing about but still seems to be obsessessed with.
