Oasis reunion + Morrissey

Any luck?
Once I got to the front of the queue, Ticketmaster kicked me right back out. But it did allow me to see available tickets. For the dates I can make, the only tickets left were standing for £200+.
I think I’ll just stay home and write some poetry.

Yes but she didn’t proceed as the only tickets available were in demand tickets at £350 each, what the hell are in demand tickets?

Shocking.

Genuinely sorry to hear that guys.

The pricing should be fair for all.

Apparently the artist does have control over whether 'dynamic pricing' is operative. I've just read that Taylor Swift elected to have it turned off for her UK arena gig sales.

Also, it seems the 21 year old's really are mugging off the old school fans:

Yes Tim Booth from James said the same thing, they also turn off dynamic pricing, it really is a shocking thing to do and shouldn’t be allowed. Thousands of people would have been on tickerbastard today waiting in turn expecting tickets to be £147 when they got to the front of the queue they got x price. It’s f***ing disgusting.

Yep. Terrible really.

Just shows how much of a money grab it really is. A hold-up without the guns.

Re: dynamic pricing: Robert Smith also made it transparent, that the artist indeed does have control over the pricing. He especially made it clear that you have a choice as an artist if you want the dynamic pricing option or not. Other example, Bruce Springsteen I think, explicitly wanted to cash in on dynamic pricing, because he didn't want to miss out on the extra cash. Since then I don't believe any artist anymore who claims otherwise and is big enough to have a choice. If you want to control that shit, you can. What a shame for the fans that must be over the moon for this reunion.

i mentioned during the week that people would be fleeced, and as night follows day its happening.i certainly dont miss the stress of going to a concert.
those prices are shocking and this is before you even have somewhere to stay, you are talking about a £1000 all in.

Yes, Gordon, you have invented demand/supply economics.

This is why, when I get a ticket for Edinburgh, I will be staying at your house.

For once I agree with you also Heaton Park is a bastard to get to and there are not many hotels nearby. I can get into Manchester in 30 mins from Alderley Edge by train Heaton park would take nearly 2 hours by public transport.

On a brighter note I've learnt to play Archie Marry Me by Alvvays on Bass, thanks for the recommendation Gregor, they're a fabulous band!

Yep confirmed by Ticketbastard, interesting that Morrissey claims he has no authority over ticket pricing:ROFLMAO:

A link on the ticketing website stated, external: "Promoters and artists set ticket prices. Prices can be either fixed or market-based. Market-based tickets are labelled as 'Platinum' or 'In Demand'."

Morrissey - Notifications remain on venues for the November tour that "Morrissey has chosen to make tickets for this tour mobile only." Once again, this site assures anyone who is interested that Morrissey has no authority or control over ticket prices or how tickets are sold. Morrissey is not included in any conversations regarding concert tickets, and he is only aware of ticket prices by checking venue events calendars.

Bleeding ulcer?

No, I was rushed into hospital with a perforated gallbladder, I had been on holiday in Aruba when it actually happened and put it down to food poisoning, however I was really ill when I got back hence the hospital emergency. I was in there a month and laid up for 6 months when I came out, one of the few benefits was that I was 196lbs when I went in and 168lbs when I came out!!
