Jack the Ripper opening from my side, where you can see how thick the smoke was. I remember it setting off the fire alarm in Nashville, but this is the first time it actually choked me up lol how on earth he manages to sing in that dense of a smoke cloud I could never know

To be honest I find some of the things his band members have done over the years to be quite demeaning.

Wearing the same clothes, the slogans "we hate William and Kate" - they are professional musicians, not slaves.

When you are in Morrissey's band you have to acquiesce to his every whim or you're out, it seems.
We can’t forget (no matter how we try) that old gal Gaynor Tension either.

Yeah, it’s kind of funny that this is the most “replaceable, like parts of a lawnmower” band he’s ever had and he encourages/forces them to express their individuality.

Compare to the Who Put the “M” in Manchester? concert, where (if I’m remembering correctly) Moz cuts off Alain after he starts to talk back during the band introduction.

It's so hard to say what my best experience has been. Nashville was incredible for a lot of reasons, obviously. He'd been canceling shows en masse the entire tour, and I thought for sure I'd not be able to see him. I had bought tickets for New York I think the year before? But it was canceled cause of covid. I was devastated, because I'd already booked a hotel and everything for Manhattan. And I believe there was yet another show I planned to go to after that that didn't work out. So for Moz to actually be there, in Nashville, right where I live, was just unbelievable. I was so happy. It's so far the only show I've ever cried during, when he was singing Please. I'm not even a huge fan of the song, not like Hand in Glove, but the power of his voice astonished me. It's one thing to watch the live shows at home, but then to be that close to him, to hear just how powerful his voice was that up close. It was incredible. He could sing the house down, honestly. I also cried when he walked out on stage lol I just couldn't believe it.

But there is something very special about live updating when I'm at a show. I don't have anyone locally to go to see him with, my best friends are in Pittsburgh and rural Maine and one's in Brazil, so it can be very isolating to have everyone around you be with their spouse, their parents, their kids, their own friends. So to be able to report my experiences here and enjoy the show with everyone helps me not feel so alone at shows, though I do love talking to everyone who will give me the time of day lol I will talk about Morrissey to anyone who will listen. Or Johnny. Or the Smiths. But yeah, I think that both being in the moment and sharing the experience here have their own pros and cons. It can be easy to miss something if I get distracted by my phone for a moment, but it's still really fun to see everyone so excited by the updates ❤️
Thank you for sharing! It’s been great feeling like I’m experiencing the moment too. It makes sense that when you are so excited about something you can’t wait to share it with everyone. Thanks again!

Woooo! Collared shirt alert! If anyone can report on whether the jacket was ever removed and whether a PERFECT HEART ever emerged on his back, ALL MY HOTLINES ARE OPEN AND COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL!

Haven’t watched anything shared yet, looking forward to it later ❤️

Card only for merch ?

Getting more expensive to attend concerts and merchandise also high prices,
But if you love the artist, go for it.

Last night introducing the band he said “they pick their own clothes, the best example… Camila Grey”

Oh my god, Carmen was so nice. It stung a little thinking about how brutal Moz Solo is towards her, and meanwhile she's just so kind and such a sweet person. She looked legitimately upset when a fan couldn't get their letter backstage (they tried to bolt backstage and got stopped by security). She stopped our conversation, very politely offered to give their letter to Moz, and was so nice to the fan. It was really touching. I told her I was a massive fan of Bones UK, and how sad I was that I haven't seen her and Rosie live yet. I told her I loved their new music, too, and asked why they haven't toured it. Carmen said they would try next year if they could, that it just didn't work out this year. Their lawyer was there tonight - he's a fan of Moz'! She said her and Rosie are going to record even more stuff this December, which I was so excited to hear. After the fan left, I told her she tossed me a pick in Baltimore, too, because she gave me another one when we started talking. She gave me such a gentle, sweet hug afterwards. I don't really have words to describe how kind she was. And she is so, *so* beautiful. The white suit she was in tonight was just stunning
What a competent investigator! You have the scoop on Bones UK before anyone else!

Thanks to all for diligent press duties!, Morrissey might step into his shoplifter shoes tonight and share something else particularly startling and earth-shattering with this informal media listening.

In any case, wishing those Waukegan-bound fun in your glad rags and handbags!

I would have asked her what Morrissey songs was she recording on in the studio recently. As mentioned in that article on her a little while ago.

God, as I was sitting down, before I looked up and saw Ryan, I realized there were a dozen things I wish I'd asked her lol I just got so nervous and forgot everything I wanted to actually say. I really just didn't expect to bump into her, it caught me so off guard. I'd also love to know what they're gonna record next. Soft was such a good album aside from the second song, and I really can't wait to see what else they have planned in such a short period of time. Her and Rosie are an incredible team

Napping. Straight up curled in her seat, eyes shut. Just snoozing away 😅

I do actually hope she was okay? Her husband kept looking at her, sort of worried, but I mean. Surely if she wasn't feeling well they'd leave early? 🤷‍♂️
spooked some people get dragged along to a concert just so it looks the person isnt alone, she might not even have any interest in M,surely the noise would keep you awake.

isn’t that one of the reasons why Morrissey has a band? ;)

Here's my gift for Moz tonight. It's a Jobriath rosary, and a shirt of my favorite Smiths tribute band.

Were you able to give him his gift? Is there a certain way to go about this? I attempted to give him a gift while he was onstage several times but was unsuccessful. At that point, I felt like a disrespectful pest. I ended up throwing onstage after the concert was over. I hope eventually he got it but if there’s any advice I’d love to hear. Thank you in advance.

Last year, I tried to hand him my gift during the show, but he didn't end up taking it. After the show, I was really stressing and started asking everyone how to get it to him. Security, fans, whoever was nearby. And 2 latina ladies, who were so nice, pointed to Moz' security guard. He was this really big guy standing by the stage. And they waved him over, and I gave it to him. He promised to give it to him.

And then this year, when I went to the venue with a gift, the security at the door took the present and either put it in a little present pile or handed it to a security guy that went backstage (Baltimore was the former, Indianapolis the latter).
