longtime lurker - is there a way to post videos here? I went last night and have a couple snippets of Shoplifters and HSIN if anyone is interested! (sorry for sounding like a dumb newbie 😩) 💚
I upload to Youtube or I use Google Drive to upload and then use the "Share" button to link it here (make sure to change it so it's visible to others clicking the link).

YouTube is a bit more fiddly. You gotta fill in a title (I use show name and song), then press a few extra buttons, but it's quick. You'll get a notice of copyright, but it doesn't seem to matter from what I can tell.

Let me introduce you to https://streamable.com/ It's the easiest way to share videos – just upload the clips to the site and copy the links to share, it's heaven-sent truly <3

If you read this Morrissey, doubt it but jesus this is simply shit. I'm listening to The Smiths debut and disparing we ever get new music. It's all there and yet??? You demand a famous label to release such??? They are not having you. So accept a lesser label or self release. Remember when you were a fan? Think of us, get the music released. Things have changed and you need to as well.

I think that must be considered a very successful tour.

No cancellations, no controversy and Morrissey in very good voice. Of course, in an ideal world it would have been to support a new album, but all things considered a big success.
He hasn't really had a lot of cancellations lately.

Since 2022 I flew to Vegas twice, flew to DC, flew to Rochester and drove to NYC plus saw a local show in Boston and saw a total of 8 shows. None of the shows were cancelled and none of my airline tickets were refundable.

While there have been some cancelled shows the vast majority were in Mexico and South America.

America and Europe has had a pretty low cancellation rate.

Hahaa!
Heck of a show!
I'll be honest with ya, it was even
better than I expected it to be.
Moz is right on top of his game and
the band was road hot.
Didn't want it to end.
Really needed this show to lift my
spirits cause I been in bummersville
thinkin' about all the Turkeys dyin'.

That's how I felt about the Rochester show. He sounded great. The band was excellent. The night was better than I was expecting.

I'm glad you had a great time.
How much of that setlist was songs you never saw live before?

“My tongue is loose, so wooppeedoo. Woopeedoo. Woopeedoo."
Finally Morrissey dug deep and came right out and said it. Who could not wholeheartedly endorse this sentiment?
funny how this tour has seen all the haters disappear for a few weeks, sure they will be back tomorrow...
As per fresh post on Strange thread, it looks like they might have taken off to Reddit to ramp up damage there instead o_O
Congratulations to Morrissey, band, and crew for a successful tour...
Who could not also wholeheartedly endorse this sentiment? :highfive:🏆

Tour merch appeared to be half off! Tour shirts were $20 and the tour poster was only $10.
Amazing show, and the Genesee theater is gorgeous.
Do you have a picture to prove this, by chance.... references to half off. We know the venue is gorgeous and show was amazing, pic and video prove that. But have not seen proof on half off.....please

I'm glad none of your shows were canceled, but in 2022 he canceled 5 US shows and 2 in 2024. In any case, are you suggesting that somehow it matters less when the cancelations are not in the US or Europe?

I don't think it matters less.. I think he has always had problems with anything south of the US. While he has had some good tours go to South America.. they cancellation rate there seems a lot higher.

I think that the cancellation rate for the US and Europe has been a lot lower that it was in previous stages of his career.

I have had many shows cancelled on me, more than I can count but not since 2014. I think the post COVID Moz has been better at showing up than he was 14 years ago but that doesn't seem to hold true for South America.

Seen everything live before except
for the Bonfire stuff and Darlin'.
All the songs sounded so good though.
Even somethin' like Jack The Ripper
that gets played a lot was great, cause
of the energy and then how manic Moz got at the end of it.
With all the negativity about Moz, it
was great to see how strong he still is.

My funny tidbit for this gig was after the show and the fans waiting for Morrissey. When Morrissey came out, he looked, gave a little wave , got on the bus and that was it. Then, the 40 or so fans waiting were gone in a flash and I was the only person left. Barricades came down and I had a great conversation with Carmen and the rest of the band. Since Carmen lives somewhere in NYC, I hope to bump into her on the subway !
Interesting! I didn’t know that she lived in NYC, did she tell you that? I was always hoping to bump into Andy Rourke one day on the subway, not to mention Bowie in Dean & Deluca (one of his favorite places). Neither came to be, and sadly, both are now gone. Including Dean & Deluca.

Does anyone know the name of the band or song sung by a blonde woman wearing a red dress played by a rock band?

This was one of the music video clips that was shown before Morrissey performed.
The Ramones - She’s The One video was played shortly after. Thanks.
