I can't ever recall Morrissey saying he's risen above anything.

That tells me something significant has changed; beyond anything a 'manager' or PR machine might advise, and whether he's desperate for albums to be released or not.

The Morrissey we are all used to would never have answered a question like that, with a response like that. He would have taken the bait without a second thought, and laid waste in whatever direction he wanted.

Maybe it is age, illness, or a combination of factors. Has he had a moment of clarity?

Maybe he found something like this on his YouTube travels.

a lot of times people will go down the front for the last few songs,iv never seen anyone sitting at one of his concerts,if you see other people going down the front ash then you may as well join them,it would be rude not to.

I agree. We'll be up in the balcony for this one! I'll probably get up and stand at the railing if I see others doing it.

He needs to smile and look like he's enjoying it. He needs to have an album out. He needs a new concert film. He needs to sack his bloody dull session muso's. He needs someone to tell him his set-list is boring beyond belief. Time is running out.

I'm a little shocked at how steep the fall off has been and how rapidly it's happened. Just no chemistry to the music or between the musicians. And why even have Sunday on the setlist if you deliver it with such derision and just non-enjoyment?? Add something like I Have Forgiven Jesus or Let Me Kiss You. I don't know, something. They need to find some answers quickly.
