I don't listen to Madonna, but when I was very young I heard Frozen and I was obsessed. I consumed it so much.
Great song. ♥️
ash do you know madonna was a support act to the smiths on new years eve 1983 at danceteria in new york.
madonna was a great artist, she was churning out hit after hit and she had some great songs, maybe M is building bridges these days like he did with shirley manson.

Why did Moz not like Manson? I wasn’t aware they had a beef.

I had really thought he'd started dating Ryan Lowry! I can't believe him and Damon are still together. Is Damon jealous of Ryan at all?? I'm dying to know 👀

lol same here. I thought he and Ryan were more than friends for a while. How many years have Moz and Damon been together tho? it feels like forever. Also, I always thought Damon look a lot like Jake.

I did not know that! How delightful. 🥰
She's one of those artists I've always wanted to delve into, maybe this conversation will ignite that.

I’d prefer Sister Ray.

It's why I keep going! Because we've learned it's how we get our own personal remixes or how we hear his quirky takes or Jabs, and unfortunately our only way to hear new tracks.
Nice to see people being kind to him

So they young lady in the picture selling new Morrissey shirts actually may be a real fan and not just a Manhead employee, her personal shirt is a older bootleg , I have one similar to that.
How cool! I didn't even notice at the time! I try to avoid directly photographing people if I can help it, so I was sort of rushing to take the picture and not make her feel awkward lol If I'd known I'd have taken a better picture of it! I wonder if she'll be at the Baltimore show 🤔

Well Manhead may hire a different merchandise company from each city to sell their items, set up before the show date. Based on my receipts from Houston and Dallas shows, 2 different Companies, but all products from Manhead

People tell me that I have some very suspicious looking friends. I don't deny it but I'd like to introduce you to (band intros)

"And living between two worlds Carmen Vandenberg"

And for once I see their point. For once
Morrissey reverting to introducing the band seems less strained, overall imo.

Btw, I can't remember or find which show it's from, but in at least one version of I Will See You In Far-Off Places, he changes words to, 'and if the EU [rather than the USA} doesn't bomb you.'

Where do you live? Should we know? "Los Angeles" where is she? Why? Her birthday yesterday. How old are you today? 36?
Doubt that! Brave man to ask a woman her age in front of the whole world, and then announce it, to boot! A woman renowned as one of the top guitar talents around too! [see posts a bit further on in this thread; apparently in jest, Morrissey was addressing a stage invader, not Carmen!] But good to see everyone on stage relaxed with each other and getting along.

It surprises me a little that Bones UK, Carmen's band, has no tour dates lined up, just weeks after the release of their new album, Soft. I wonder why they're not promoting it in the usual way? I'd like to catch them play sometime.

Just wanted to share what I thought was a great analysis of Madonna's Frozen song and video...Of all the Madonna songs/videos Morrissey could have selected, he chooses this one.... I'm intrigued... to say the least.

She wrote Frozen with frequent collaborator, Patrick Leonard - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Leonard

Morrissey's song Ammunition, among others, shares sentiments with Frozen.

End of show! What a great set. Will try and get all my footage up soon ❤️

Thanks for an excellent service and going beyond the call of duty, Spooked, deserving of World's Best Live Show Insider Reporting Award! 🥇:scroll::trophy:🧡

It's unbelievable how many words of supposition have spilled over one photo of Moz walking briskly into the back entrance of the Tennessee Theatre before the show. I know, because I was there and saw the fellow fan who took the photo. We were simply waiting for Morrissey to arrive and he gave us a pleasant greeting as we welcomed him to Knoxville and he was being whisked in by security. The show was absolutely incredible.
