All jokes aside; of course he said it. He's not racist. He doesn't hate Muslims. He doesn't play identity politics and he doesn't play the "your tribe is who you are" game. He respects culture and background as identity backdrops but not as leaden weights; not as anchors, not as fill-ins that eclipse individual sovereignty.

He called out Muslims as being behind the majority of terrorist attacks because, let's face it, they are. Does that make him racist? Nope. Just a fact checker. And when you get to a point where you willfully forget or obscure (in the name of "not being racist") that certain peoples have ideologies that cause more harm than good, and that this is backed up statistically, then you're a big part of the problem.

As for the Trump thing, you said you feared Morrissey would say something pro. Let's say he had. So what? Whose feathers would that really ruffle other than your own? Who cares? Does it really affect you in any way if he was to offer sympathy or condolences or vague political alliance with a candidate who, for whatever his flaws are, essentially runs on a platform of common sense?

What has Trump ever said or done, done as in enacted a law or changed a paradigm culturally, that has directly affected you adversely and caused you undue upset?

Oh, nothing? Oh. OK. Cool.
Probably true.

Did he call out Muslims?
And sure, you can ‘fact check’ as much you want, but make sure you don’t willfully forget or obscure the fact that generalizations are rarely a good idea and that division and ‘us against them’ seldomly leads to progress.

You speak as if Trump is an infallible leader who anyone can’t possibly dislike. I don’t care one iota for his politics, I think his rhetoric is dangerous, he lies more than your average politician, and so on. I don’t trust him to be the leader of the western world. And I think he has very little common sense.

Well then you're really, really not gonna like the next four years, bud.

Explain to me what "generalizations" have been made regarding the statistical charting of Muslim-based terrorist attacks.

Maybe this is a "the truth hurts" thing...

Sorry???

Also can you cite where I implied Trump is infallible, or even where I expressed support for him? Can you show me where I actually even remotely implied that? No? Is it because you are so lost in the Lefty sauce that anytime you see a debate where someone doesn't explicitly rend his or her (notice I didn't say "their") garments over the mention of Trump's name it means he or she is pro-Trump?

This is exactly why debating with Gregor is pretty pointless. They don't respond to what you have said - but to what they think you have said in their own head, that you haven't even remotely said. 'Lost in the lefty sauce' is very well put.

I think people are prone to generalize and assume all Muslims are terrorists.

What truth supposedly hurts?

I felt that this verbose question implied that: “What has Trump ever said or done, done as in enacted a law or changed a paradigm culturally, that has directly affected you adversely and caused you undue upset?”. As if Trump causing someone to feel upset is completely outlandish.

You seem very worked up.

Not worked up at all...you expressed or at least, to my rudimentary inference skills, implied a disdain for Trump that was not really rooted in anything specific, so I was asking if there was some personal grudge. It's a question I would ask a lot of folks who let Trump imbue their every waking moment with immeasurable levels of anxiety.

That’s not really the case with me. I just disagree with his politics. That happens.

It does indeed. Oh well. You win some; you lose some. Personally I've had enough of a doddering old fool who literally can't even formulate a basic sentence properly. I'm looking forward to some order being restored in November.

Personally, I can't wait for the reckoning.

I too wish Biden would step down. And I think he probably will. Not that it will change anything. Trump is going to win. And I wish the very best for your country. I just hope Trump won’t isolate you completely or cause too much division, domestically. And I mean that with the utmost respect and compassion.

Everything is going to be OK.

What are your thoughts on the Hulkster speaking at the RNC?
I don't care and didn't know about it. Having said that, it's amusing. It's obviously a promotional gimmick. But everything is a cartoon now anyway so why not. I think that collectively there's this substrate feeling that nothing is real and everyone is making it up as we go along. Have you met the average Trump supporter? Have you met the average Biden supporter? Everything is a goddamn joke anymore. I think people have become so apathetic post-Covid that half of them double down on the earnestness to the point of absurdity and the other half just say f*** it and give in to the nihilism.

I think you’re right. Extremism and absurdity has completely taken over. On both sides. I hate the goodytwoshoes-safe-space-woke and their right-wing loony bin counterparts. You can’t take either side seriously. And they’re both destroying the political climate. So yeah, it opens up for clownery and spectacle.

I see it almost exactly this way myself. I want Trump to win because he's a comedian, a personality, a character. It's not as if policy matters, because the two parties are alot alike, and in the aspects where they differ, they both equally stink. Trump is the president we deserve and the bomb-thrower we need. Story time is a bonus. Someone on Twitter said that his electric boat-&-shark story was twice as funny in transcript form, and they sure were right.

So we have a country that’s in trouble. We’re going to end the mandate on electric one day. They want to make all boats too. I went to a boat company in South Carolina, the boat. I said, “How is it?” He said, “It’s a problem, sir. They want us to make all electric boats.” These are boats that are from 16 to 35 or so feet, fishing boats, leisure boats, beautiful company in South Carolina, beautiful. The guy’s been doing it for 50 years. He sells hundreds of boats every couple of months. I mean, really fantastic guy. And they use the Mercury engines and different engines in the back, no problem. They want to take that out. They want to make it all electric. He said, “The problem is the boat is so heavy it can’t float.” I said, “That sounds like a problem.” He said, “Also, it can’t go fast because of the weight. And they want to now have a fifty-mile or a seventy-mile radius. You have to go out 70 miles before you can really start the boat up and you go out at two knots.” That’s essentially almost like two miles an hour. Say, “How long does it take you to get out there?” “Many hours, and then you’re allowed to go around for 10 minutes, but you have to come back because the batteries only last for a very short period of time.” So I said, “Let me ask you a question.” And he said nobody ever asked this question, and it must be because of MIT, my relationship to MIT, very smart. I say, “What would happen if the boat sank from its weight and you’re in the boat and you have this tremendously powerful battery and the battery’s underwater, and there’s a shark that’s approximately 10 yards over there?” By the way, a lot of shark attacks lately. Do you notice that? A lot of shark. I watched some guys justifying it today. “Well, they weren’t really that hungry. They bit off the young lady’s leg because of the fact that they were not hungry, but they misunderstood who she was.” These people are crazy. He said, “There’s no problem with sharks. They just didn’t really understand a young woman swimming now who really got decimated and other people too,” a lot of shark attacks. So I said, “So there’s a shark 10 yards away from the boat, 10 yards or here. Do I get electrocuted if the boat is sinking, and water goes over the battery, the boat is sinking. Do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted or do I jump over by the shark and not get electrocuted?” Because I will tell you he didn’t know the answer. He said, “Nobody’s ever asked me that question.” I said, “I think it’s a good question. I think there’s a lot of electric current coming through that water.” But you know what I’d do if there was a shark or you get electrocuted, I’ll take electrocution every single time. I’m not getting near the shark.

When I read all the reactions, I think to myself, my god. She´s not very pleased about human kind. Never mind, Ich werd euch Alle entgegnen in the great beyond. There is a place in hell for me and my friends, how do you like purgatory so far? See you in the next life.

Absolutely amazing read.

The leader of the free world. These next four years are going to be…special.
