Oasis reunion + Morrissey

Maybe but Liam still manages to sell anywhere between 100k and 400k in the UK alone.
Liam is hugely popular on X too. He posts one word and within minutes he has thousands of views. It’s actually a lot of fun because he engages. I think he’s a real character. He already has 769k views on the announcement post this morning whereas Noel has 436k.

Reunion money still going to the NHS Liam?

Probably not but he did a solo show for NHS workers the following year.

Liam Gallagher today announces his Free Concert For NHS Workers will be rescheduled to Thursday 17 August 2021 at London’s The O2 arena. Liam Gallagher will be joined by special guests Primal Scream and Black Honey. For more information, please visit https://www.liamgallagher.com/ & https://www.theo2.co.uk/

Last year Liam stated “It's an honour to announce that I will be doing a gig for the NHS and careworkers at London’s The O2. They do an incredible job, we are very lucky to have them. LG x”. This is an event to thank all NHS staff who have been working tirelessly to keep us safe.

Really want/hope I can get some tickets to see them and really hope we get some album tracks like they used to play not just a load of singles

Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash
New car, caviar, four-star daydream
Think I'll buy me a football team

Don't give me that do-goody-good bullsh*t
I'm in the high-fidelity first class traveling set
And I think I need a Lear jet

Good for Oasis that they have a legacy to fall back on and get back together for their millions of fans.

The reunion is the main story in the 'legacy' media this morning. Clearly some big money to be made in pushing this as something akin to the second coming. This really is the death throws of popular music. Like the leg of a corpse jerking with merely reflexive spasms. Pop will eat itself - never a truer word spoken.
no gash the second coming was confirmed when banksy took to the stage at glastonbury,a journalist actually said it was like watching jesus, what drugs are these people on.
agree about the news today, they hype it up to the max, when people leave these concerts and if theyr really honest with themselves they will say was it really worth the hype,it was good but not great is what you will hear most.
as i always say on here,if your going then enjoy.

my advice to anyone who is thinking of attending these is go to the first few nights as where is the guarantee that all nights will be completed.
a worldwide tour could be 8 months, could be like the old days or could be scottish detective taggarts tagline, theres been a murder.

Yes indeed last night on the telly the effervescence was threatening to push all the wars etc off the main headlines. ITV showed a clip of apparently the last show where Liam was sitting there fuming at Noel as he finished off a song for him. The stare could have burned through sheet metal.

This news is such a great antidote to all the gloom just now. There must be serious cash/promotion behind everything but as the pressure of these huge shows builds up will it all kick off again? Maybe they'll need some family therapist on the payroll to try to keep things from melting down. Seem to remember it worked for Metallica?

Maybe M will get an guest invite to attend. Surely he wouldn't want to be anywhere near all this excitement though.
