Oh my god, Carmen was so nice. It stung a little thinking about how brutal Moz Solo is towards her, and meanwhile she's just so kind and such a sweet person. She looked legitimately upset when a fan couldn't get their letter backstage (they tried to bolt backstage and got stopped by security). She stopped our conversation, very politely offered to give their letter to Moz, and was so nice to the fan. It was really touching. I told her I was a massive fan of Bones UK, and how sad I was that I haven't seen her and Rosie live yet. I told her I loved their new music, too, and asked why they haven't toured it. Carmen said they would try next year if they could, that it just didn't work out this year. Their lawyer was there tonight - he's a fan of Moz'! She said her and Rosie are going to record even more stuff this December, which I was so excited to hear. After the fan left, I told her she tossed me a pick in Baltimore, too, because she gave me another one when we started talking. She gave me such a gentle, sweet hug afterwards. I don't really have words to describe how kind she was. And she is so, *so* beautiful. The white suit she was in tonight was just stunning

I feel bad not talking to Camila, but I don't know a lot about her, honestly. So I just waved and smiled at her after I spoke to Carmen lol Hopefully that didn't bother her.

Ryan was very sweet, too. He said he drove his mom to the show! And that he's from very nearby, but he was raised more near Chicago. I said his photos were absolutely amazing, and that there's been a serious drought of good concert pictures of him. And that his picture with Moz in New York was one of the best we've had in such a long time. Ryan was like, I'm shocked he let's me! Though I wanted to do more portraits of him, really. I said I missed him at the Baltimore and Knoxville shows, but I was so glad to meet him. He shook my hand and was very kind. I think he was surprised I knew him lol But obviously I have to stay on top of who Moz is dating 😂

But moz is still dating Damon.

To those of you who are at the show (any Moz show) and incessantly post videos, chat, update setlists, in real time: aren’t you concerned that you’re missing something - like the actual concert experience of seeing this great artist perform live right in front of you?

I saw him in Nashville last year, October 15th, 2023, and didn't record or take any photos, really. Or very few photos. It was my first Moz gig, and I wanted to be totally in the moment. I don't think I posted too much on Moz Solo about it. Other than my Linder shirt and my present.

For my current footage, I rarely am looking at my phone. Sometimes you'll see my camera drift off, and that's because my eyes are on him. I'm not really focused on recording. If I type out something happening real time, it's in between songs. Or when Moz isn't talking. I try and give my full attention in those moments.

And, really. With ADHD/my particular type of autism, I process a little slower than others, especially auditory processing. It actually really helps if I type down what's happening, due to my thoughts being so scattered all the time. It's easy for me to forget what's going on only a second later cause I'm thinking of something else. So. 🤷‍♂️

Moz walk on, You're the One for Me. I suppose Sophie has all this covered but! Figured I'd still upload a few of mine.

Don't mind me sneakily recording the photographers trying to see if it's Ryan 🤣

Thank you for all of your updates, photos, videos, replies, anything you can share! I wish I could have been with you and others tonight! Looks like it was so much fun. Were you able to get your gift for Moz to Carmen so that she could hand it over to him? I would love to see your Linder shirt if you don't mind sharing, and the Morrissey bracelet you made is adorable. ❤️

I actually thought Moz was a little less chatty tonight than when I last saw him in D.C. last year.

The Loop is one of my favorite tracks, but I thought it sounded pretty anemic. Juan’s slaps weren’t audible, if he was slapping at all. Big difference from when Gary Day played it.

No Suedehead, but he was wearing a James Dean scarf before he threw it into the crowd.

Very enjoyable show though. The band sounds better than they did last year.

Moz sang the chorus to Indiana Wants Me (R. Dean Taylor) prior to Speedway.

Was it a better experience?

I understand. My experience is that you really want to take in what’s happening even between songs. I mean, let that previous song sink in etc.

I can really respect that. Keep fighting the fight. 👍🏻

It was a fantastic show! My husband even enjoyed it. We both said the band itself sounded a lot better than they did in Vegas. The acoustics were just lovely in the theatre.

Morrissey's music definitely gives me a different feeling when it's live. It's like the songs sound new, somehow. I was so pumped for The Loop. I love Rockabilly Moz.

Morrissey was being adorably witty tonight.

^I really like this picture of some reason. The pose.. the way the striped white light is on him.. the way his hands are placed on the stand. The bad quality makes it sort of look like a painting.

I'm on a cloud! I'm tuckered out though. 😴
Thank You! The picture where he's leaning against the equipment is my favorite!

Oh, I know, I know 🤧 I just think him and Ryan are so cute together ❤️ Damon is good looking, and obviously Moz is crazy about him - Lover to Be is probably one of the hottest songs he's ever written, if I'm honest, next to Handsome Devil - but I think Ryan is so gorgeous. I almost couldn't even say hello to him, he was just so stunning in person. And very charismatic. Damon always has such a stern look on his face! But maybe that's cause the press is always pestering them 😅

And the way Ryan said "anything for moz!" so earnestly tonight, as we were talking. Be still my heart 💖

I went in to see what happened. What madness, what hysteria... Everything is fine, but who is Carmen and Camila 🤌🤌🤌🤭🤭Morrissey basta de eeuu sali de tu zona de confort!!!!

You're welcome!! I love sharing my experiences with you all 🥰

Tonight and at the Baltimore show, my gifts were taken by security at the front door. I never really argued with them about it, they just handed it off or set it down for a security person to take back stage. In Nashville last year I tried to hand it to him (he almost took it! Agggh), but then had to give it to his personal security guard after the show.

Here is my beautiful Linder shirt:

I designed it and had it printed for the show last year, but I wear it all the time. I actually wore it to the Knoxville show just a few weeks ago!

It's so hard to say what my best experience has been. Nashville was incredible for a lot of reasons, obviously. He'd been canceling shows en masse the entire tour, and I thought for sure I'd not be able to see him. I had bought tickets for New York I think the year before? But it was canceled cause of covid. I was devastated, because I'd already booked a hotel and everything for Manhattan. And I believe there was yet another show I planned to go to after that that didn't work out. So for Moz to actually be there, in Nashville, right where I live, was just unbelievable. I was so happy. It's so far the only show I've ever cried during, when he was singing Please. I'm not even a huge fan of the song, not like Hand in Glove, but the power of his voice astonished me. It's one thing to watch the live shows at home, but then to be that close to him, to hear just how powerful his voice was that up close. It was incredible. He could sing the house down, honestly. I also cried when he walked out on stage lol I just couldn't believe it.

But there is something very special about live updating when I'm at a show. I don't have anyone locally to go to see him with, my best friends are in Pittsburgh and rural Maine and one's in Brazil, so it can be very isolating to have everyone around you be with their spouse, their parents, their kids, their own friends. So to be able to report my experiences here and enjoy the show with everyone helps me not feel so alone at shows, though I do love talking to everyone who will give me the time of day lol I will talk about Morrissey to anyone who will listen. Or Johnny. Or the Smiths. But yeah, I think that both being in the moment and sharing the experience here have their own pros and cons. It can be easy to miss something if I get distracted by my phone for a moment, but it's still really fun to see everyone so excited by the updates ❤️

Oh wow. I would wear that all the time, too. Very nice choice. I'm sure he will love your gift!

Nick Cave has it right. He tells fans to “put your f#cking phones away” and it has an impact. Those who get them out, only do so from the safety of being far from the stage and they are used for a quick snap and put away pronto.

Live in the now people.
