Well, “I don’t love you, anymore” would be just plain boring and unoriginal, don’t you think?
I think it would make the song more literate. If he sang those words the same way, I think it would be better. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around "I ex-love you." I have never heard such a thing!

Veronica surfaces (with a female voice in background).

Quite nice version , Camila on the harmonica is not as expressive as Gustavo, but applause is deserved

its no different to when last i spoke to carol,it should be when i last spoke to carol but he tends not to stick to the norm.

Could be a reason he turned down the reunion, although I am sure there are many others

Probably the thought of having to share a backstage rider* with the stage 5 clinger that is Jesse 'there is a shite that never goes out' Tobias.

The irony of him dragging Marr's hair on his twitter account, when he looks like a man straining for a bowel movement every time he barres a chord...

I agree but even better is for the attendees to Not sing along. Holy Crap, no one wants to pay a lot of money to have some schlub standing next to them crooning flat and out of key. It's hellacious.

You want to quietly sing along to yourself? Fine. Want to mouth the words? Go for it but don't ever sing out loud and openly Ruin the concert experience for others.

Here's some inside information for you: You suck at singing.

We want to hear Morrissey sing, not a bunch of schmoes caterwauling in the crowd.
iv posted the exact same thing over the years on here, some twat warbling away would totally ruin it for me.

apologies if it was previously posted: Baby J's EDILS: beautiful intro by Camilla, and 3:22 playful with the crowd I feel like all the "I love you" aren't enough I hope he knows how much he is loved.

Can anyone tell what has replaced "more grist for the mill" at the end?

Nice!! I've been to PE quite often. Have you ever been here? I live in Johannesburg. Yes, we do get some big acts and I do go see some of them but we are definitely not spoilt for choice. Maybe I'll go and see Robbie Williams in desperation when he comes- at least he looks like Morrissey:unsure: :ROFLMAO:.
I'd love to go one day. My father-in-law went three times in his 70's. Always stopped in Cape Verde.

Lighten up, Mary.
Smarten up, Cletus.

I see you got a 😍 from the one gal who’ll love any comment that takes offense at the slightest critique of Morrissey. You must be so proud.

At A Lazarus Soul concert recently some half drunk scumbag elbowed himself to behind me in front row. He kept shouting for a song until eventually the lovely and patient singer said "we won't be playing that song". The scumbag screamed "play it you c***!" twice during the quiet bits. It occured to me yet again that (luckily) my only interaction with scumbags is at concerts or to/from a concert. Moz concerts attract a certain skank contingent too. Or maybe all artists do.

Baby J's been busy:

Dear God Please Help Me, sweet instrumentation, and Jesse cuts a smashing figure on the cymbals

Everyday Is Like Sunday, with Camile's dreamy intro (who's on the backdrop as the song ends?)

Alma Matters, effortless rendition

All The Lazy Dykes, delicate and shimmering

Darling I Hug a Pillow, with vibrant and polished musical arrangement

Jack The Ripper - new bits added near the end, including lines from Because Of My Poor Education (from him who's ex-miseducated so many!)

Life Is A Pigsty, with some expansive classic rock guitar playing for the outro. (Jacket minder needed!)

And more.

intro was stunning.

this is a myth which started on here a few years ago,hes a grown man and can do what he wants.
april theres been a few photos of M in pubs over the years and he looks like the most sober person in them.
odbmkie, that record company poser, is at it now. Do you think they're Uncleskinny, as someone guessed, which would disappoint me, or 100% troll BrummieBoy, who never reigns in slanderous slurs, stirring it up?

I just watched Life is A Pigsty that was posted here yesterday - he was great but the band just seems to be disinterested?

I am just not getting the vibe with the band and to me there seems to be
zero connection between him and them and even amongst the band themselves, they seem to be so disinterested doing this whole gig and it is opening night !!!!
They should be jumping with joy having such a great gig and tour to look forward to?

I think he is not getting the energy he got with Boz and Alain and would spark with,
he cannot get the vibe going as they are not offering any energy back?

I wonder if this is why he seems to be struggling at times?

I need to watch the new videos Baby J posted though to see if I am totally wrong?

What you say is possible. I also think it's possible that all ofa littl assembled e bit like hired hands as opposed to a "band", because, because they are kind of hands. They are all playing songs mostly written by someone else, and so on and so forth. Jesse I'm sure has a fervent loyalty and excitement. He is very enthusiastically posting pictures and videos from almost every tour stop on his Instagram stories and whatnot.

I think it is also possible that they are indeed excited and enthusiastic – but that doesn't necessarily need to manifest as a jumping around stage presence. Even Boz and Alin (in their most recent tumors of duty) were not exactly jumping around like the rockabilly infused band of the early to mid 90s. I think this band is pretty outwardly stoic and taciturn, but that doesn't mean that they are necessarily unenthusiastic.

And to me this kind of fits the vibe from Morrissey himself over the past 20 or so years – maybe even more. Since 2000 2004, he settled into the lounge crooner and warbler – he's not really prowling the stage standing on top speakers, doing his arrhythmic hip swivels of old.

Doesn't even whip the microphone cord around nearly as much as used to, but i don't think that means he's less enthusiastic or thankful for the opportunity to sing songs in front an audience, backed by musicians he clearly things are capable and with whom he gets along. (Sometimes, he does seem a little bit bored or at least search of a way to find a new way of singing songa he has sung hundreds times over the decades at this point. I think it was in Speedway last night, from the video that he didn't even seem like he sang the first couple lines
