I'm not surprised if he has 'dropped' Noel Gallagher - NG seemed to revel in being indiscreet about every occasion that he met up with Morrissey, and blurted every detail out to the media. Bigmouth strikes again, and again.

With the passing of his mother, there is nobody left with the ability to talk to him honestly. Everyone around him will agree to absurd ideas like a two night YATQ anniversary booked on weeks notice. The same people will then cover for him, and even let M issue absurd statements in their name (Tobias) because the next Moz show is their next paycheck also.

I am not sure he was much better behaved when his mother was alive

I think Noel may have dropped him, I remember some interview where Noel said he didn't really care for how Morrissey is now

I agree , down here in South Africa we have zero chance of seeing Morrissey in concert. I might go to the UK if the rumored shows become a reality!

I was just gonna ask, is Damon still around? Did anyone see him around the Houston show? Was the last time he was seen the airplane episode? "Rudolph Vaselino" was credited for the vape pictures, but that wasn't necessarily Damon...

Well, I was attempting to show that this is all conjecture. Going for a drink with a person once in the last 40 years hardly qualifies them to be an authority on the habits of that person. And even if they personally sent emails to each other, I doubt whether Moz confided in Marr and said, yes lets do the box set and oh, by the way , I have this problem.....

If Morrissey and Johnny had contacts after the break- up of the Smiths, they were mist likely of the casual and / or business-like type. I am not at all suggesting that they are close friends.
Regarding Morrissey potentially being a functioning alcoholic, it is true that we only see a fraction of his life on which people construct their own convictions. Perhaps he’s not so dissimilar to Lou Reed, an artist that he admires and respects (and I do too).

Nice!! I've been to PE quite often. Have you ever been here? I live in Johannesburg. Yes, we do get some big acts and I do go see some of them but we are definitely not spoilt for choice. Maybe I'll go and see Robbie Williams in desperation when he comes- at least he looks like Morrissey .
