Morrissey announces for the 379th time the release of his new single I am Veronica and tells about his good friend Miley

Anyone lucky enough to be at any of the splendid shows of this tour knows they were graced by the presence of a triumphant Morrissey.

We are grateful and we are humbled. It’s inspiring to see this display of verve and vigour in old age.

Hats off to Morrissey and the band - they really did deliver on all fronts.

This has been a great year for Morrissey on stage, maybe 2 years off did him good.
He also did IBEH today to add to the setlist

I like Veronica and think it would be a fine single to preface the release of Bonfire. One curious question - does Morrissey think this single has already come out, insofar as it’s debuted and been highlighted as a single. We usually expect a single to be released as a CD, vinyl or download - it has not been revealed in its studio version. So is something more to come? And imminently?

Will we get it soon? Are we more or less hopeful of Bonfire’s release after this last show.

(Cracking tour by the way lads)

He was coughing a lot and looked a big tired, well end of tour, so it makes sense, I guess. They reshuffeled the selist and put DISAPPOINTMENT in. Place was not sold out, could n t get rid of my spare ticket too unfortunately. Some nice clips coming up. When someone shouted about the release of record he said’ I don t know, I don t know everything…I know nothing..’ and then started Please Please Please.
Well I went (from Holland) to his last 3 gigs and will definitely be there, next time!

Finally managed to catch Morrissey on this tour. Refreshing setlist without a lull in the middle, and good énergiy from both Morrissey and the crow. My sister was with me this time, first time on a Morrissey concert in the UK and she said the crowd is much better here than on the European mainland.
I havé heard Morrissey in better voice, he even admitted that at the end of the show. I wondered if they had decided to shorten the setlist for this reason, it felt a bit short to me (e.g no My hurling days are gone). Wish I had been able to catch him twice on this tour.
Please, please, please was an absolute highlight for me, very moving. Disappointed was nice surprise and I also thoroughly enjoyed FOTG and The Loop.

The first time I've seen M live, and I am extremely hopeful, and in fact, reassured that I will do again. Sound levels and quality were perfect. Voice sounded fantastic (it was only him becoming out of breath slightly between songs and the marginally shorter-than-usual setlist that indicated otherwise). The band were incredibly tight and M's witty banter was joyful. The 4 new songs, 'Loop', 'Sunday', 'How soon' and 'First of the Gang' were my highlights; I particularly enjoyed Gustavo's piano playing in Bonfire and then into the Sunday intro. What a night!

I'm on the other side of the world, but it seems like this has been a very successful tour generally speaking. Varied setlists, decent attendances and (perhaps most crucially) no real controversies to speak of.

I presume that it will have done Morrissey's battered reputation a bit of good.

Another great gig. My third and final from
This tour. Best version of NHNOE on this show. Can’t believe the UK tour is already over 😢
Now onto the Australian tour! That was a joke btw. I don't expect Morrissey to grace our shores again. At least we got back to back tours for 2015 and 2016. That was absolutely unheard of down here.

one can only hope. Those who battered need battering for me.

best tour for many many years in my opinion. Viva Moz.

As good as Morrissey was tonight, Roxy Music were better.
