Watching this reminds me of when Morrissey appeared on Zane Lowe's show on BBC Radio 1 circa YATQ. I'm sure it's archived on Solo.

He played a few songs. Zane asked him questions from listeners. One question was what is your favourite Smiths/Morrissey album?. His reply was Rank/Southpaw.

Yes! Been waiting a while for this and thought it might never appear. A$AP is a big name and has released some interesting work recently including sampling Tame Impala to fuse a psychedelic/disco record in Sundress - certainly not off the shelf gangsta rap. Excited to see what he does here. I anticipate more of a sample usage as opposed to a new Moz verse or a ramping up of Neil Cassidy flows.

I thought similarly. Especially with regard to Miley Cyrus, I would imagine her to be the platonic ideal of the ‘lockjawed popstar thicker than pigsh*t’. Mr. Rocky is likely a similar case.

It would be far more dignified to sail through on the powerful tides of his music.

I thought the same about Miley Cyrus as well, and in the letter that was revealed that he wrote to his manager, he wanted Miley to make him more popular and get a younger, wider audience which is something he cannot accomplish on his own

To be fair he is well known, and sadly these days that is what Moz cares about big American names to try and pulls his career back. Cali Son , the whole ordeal with that Cyrus or whatever her name is . Moz seems to think American fame is better than English fame . In his mind if he gets big in America it’s a up yours to uk media but rather than write good songs he does these desperate collaborations, Green day , Cyrus and Rocky jeeze.
