SO -- tips!:

-- BONFIRE works (for Atlantic City, at least)
-- Ignore the seating chart. It doesn't update, or doesn't update as quickly as the text list
-- Use the text list of available seats to the right. Sort by Top Seats and give the slider a value range (if you like).
-- Keep refreshing! New seats pop up constantly -- even in areas that had "sold out" before.

I got four seats in the second row. Good god.

Good luck!
Were you able to get them at regular prices or were they the ticketmaster platinum seats?

How do I get the pre-sale for the Genese Theater? I got the text message and it says presale will go live today at 10AM Local Time... but the theater's website says pre-sale is August 8th...

BONFIRE is the code

I'm unfamiliar with what constitutes platinum pricing, but the tickets I purchased were $149 each (plus a dazzling array of convenience charges and taxes). I was impressed that many ticket tiers were going for "reasonable" rates -- from $50 to $90 each.

or the 1974 horror film Its Alive, which i saw in the cinema a few years later.
Oh, my guess is it's a reference to the 1931 classic - with the symbolism being Bonfire as the creature brought back from the dead. The manic energy captured on celluloid was very real - Colin Clive died of severe alcoholism several years later, his sad story not dissimilar to that related in Bobby, Don't You Think They Know? Clive came to Hollywood with the director, James Whale - Whale's English humasexual story is very well told in Gods and Monsters with Ian McKellen and Brendan Fraser. I am sure Moz loves all that classic golden age 'Hollywood Babylon' mystique, given his previous purchase of Clark Gable's former residence. And, as noted by many, the 'rats' version of Jack the Ripper seems to reference Dracula, also from 1931. The director of that movie, Tod Browning, went on to make Freaks in 1932 - which Moz is just bound to be a fan of.

2000 seats at Tennessee Theatre, Knoxville. Personally, I prefer the smaller venues, especially in historic, stunning theaters. Feels a whole lot more intimate and special.

He played theatres in the uk on the last tour but for me they are the best venues to see him in.
100%. The one upside of Morrissey's reduced popularity in recent years, is we can finally see him in decent intimate venues again, instead of massive soulless arenas.

When he was last in Boston, he played to 5,000 so it does seem venues are getting smaller now
Was he promoting a new studio album then? I expect quick sell outs (and the associated media) were the priority, when these venues were selected.

on the first night will the band dress up for halloween.
carm and cam will def be up for that as we saw a while ago.
