Dear God please tell me Carmen was having issues with her guitar during this song because she straight out butchered it.
She butchers everything, seriously

It was a mediocre show. Third time seeing Moz, it’s the worst band he’s ever had. The woman on guitar was terrible. Thats the best Moz can get? Set list was sloggish. Could have played one or two more Smiths tracks and more classics from his career. Speedway is not a show closer either. 5/10 show.

Everyone’s individual experience is theirs and theirs alone, so if it was a 5/10, no one’s going to take that 5/10 away from you. But only a person with zero poetry in their heart could ever say that Speedway isn’t a show closer.

Oh yes it is ❤️

Carmen’s solo in Pigsty nearly brought tears to my eyes because it was great.

Yeah. She really brings a refreshing element to
the sound. Great band of musicians. Loved them when I got to see them a while back.

Full gig:

Gift horse aside, audio isn't brilliant.

Thank you for your honest review

I think it's the lighting technician's fault. Don't know why, I just have an inkling.

Sorry if this has been posted already, but what time are these shows generally starting? I'm going to Flint tonight and call the theater and they said doors open an hour and a half beforehand but she did not have a specific start time or door open time 🤣

An amazingly polished show and the setlist did not disappoint despite the lack of surprises. Lonely was spiced with a great synth throb and even the old Gang was delivered freshly somehow. Moz was in a great mood throughout and came through in his singing. Guitars ended much lower in the mix than intended at times but no songs were actually spoiled as a result. How Soon had a bit of confusion between the girls as to the placement of riffs but this just added an interesting tension. Dear God was epic. The first few songs were delivered with just the right amount of ferocity at times. All of the new songs sounded like future favourites. Please Please was particularly moving. Ms. Grey really stood out for her playing. The entire show was well paced with no filler. Jesse played great (yes, really) and the Walker brothers may be the best rhythm section he's ever had. Tonight was Morrissey at his most professional. A very good time was had by all!

Thanks! It’s always great to also hear from people that were actually there! (y)

This was my 3rd time seeing Morrissey. I saw him in Rochester a few days ago and found the sound there to be far superior. I noticed a lot of artifacts and feedback in the performance last night, which was a little disappointing. It could be related to the guitar issues.

Regardless, it was still a great show. Here are some videos I took.
