Yes, M was an utter twat, really made me think so much less of him
I don't know what's worse, having the show canceled outright or getting in there and seated and having him disappear
Sorry you had to break the news to people lol no one likes to be the bearer of bad news
But, sounds like you made up for it with the sparkling company of 85 and your daughter, all was not lost - silver linings and all
I had a few drinks at the venue, so not all was lost there either, sipping gin and tonic outside on a nice summer evening by the ocean
I also would be pretty frightened if someone from here recognized me on the street, it's bizarre and there are scary people here

Boston, Greatest Hits tour, 2007.

I was there. After four songs he just had one of his crew come out and announce the show was over. There was almost a riot. BUT Morrissey came back and did a make up show just a few weeks later, opened with "Please,Please,Please.." and gave an outstanding performance, to those of us ticketholders lucky enough to be local that is. There were many empty seats that were not empty at the original date
