The November 19 show at OLG Fallsview at Niagara Falls has sold out (5,000 tickets.)

There are still plenty of tickets available through Ticketmaster. ...and "bought out by touts" isn't the same thing as, "Sold Out to fans", does it?

I've been the victim of cancellations SEVEN times. Starting way back in 1991. The most brutal was Madison Square Garden in 2007. I went down from Boston and flew a friend in from the West Coast at huge expense for that one. Morrissey cancelled the gig just three hours before showtime. No apology of course. You can be sure he slept like a baby that night. He does not care about his fans. Now nothing could compel me to travel more than ten miles for a Morrissey concert. Do so at your own risk-
Maybe you're just jinxed? See a priest? Or do some Buddhist chanting to get rid of your bad chi?
I jest, of course. But didn't you go ahead and have a great day out /night out in the fabulous city of New York with your 'friend' that you 'flew in'? I think that was a show he cancelled due to a 'throat infection'. A nasty thing for a singer. These things do happen. Don't get me wrong - I would have been pissed too. But I would have made sure I went ahead and had a great night regardless. Cocktails in Manhattan. Happiness is the best revenge.

Most touring bands have record contracts, and aren’t toxic pensioners desperate to prove they still have an audience.

I like Morrissey, but even I can’t be bothered with the drama/politics any more. It’s just so f***ing tiresome.
100%. He's an excellent singer and lyricist...sometimes...but he'staking the fcukin piss with his politics riffs...he's thick as pigshit, hasn't a clue what he's talking about, wishes he was erudite & conversational dynamite like Douglas Murray...and yours truly.

You still in Carlisle? Still writing poetry? I should live at Tenby Services I'm up & down to Northumberland and Scotland so much...

Take care...if it's you. If not, still take care.

I think you have mistaken me for someone else.

I am no more jinxed than the 14,ooo other suckers screwed over that night at MSG. Or the 12,ooo left hanging at the Worcester Centrum in 1991. I love Manhattan, but I did not travel there nor fly my friend in from thousands of miles away to tour the Big Apple, I did so for one reason to see Morrissey, I was a gullible fool to think he would honor his commitments like basically every other performer out there. "The show must go on" rings hollow in Morrissey's ears.

What happened at the Worcester Centrum? I saw him at Great Woods in 91. Did he just cancel? Walk off?

Tickets sales were less than expected, the arena sized venue did not come close to selling out. Morrissey, his ego bruised, opted to cancel and flew back to the UK. At least he cancelled a few days before the gig, not the day of. That was a tough one because I had SECOND ROW center seats.

I didn’t find out until I was actually at the venue. :(
I was surprised, because he was in great spirits at the Nassau Coliseum show I attended. Actually, in hindsight, I have the suspicion that he knew he was going to cancel the next nights, because out of character ( I’ve never seen him do this) instead of leaving the stage as he usually does, he went up to the front and collected gifts from the stage and fans right before exiting.

Btw, Worcester wasn’t the only one cancelled.

‘Dates scheduled in Worcester, Albany, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Williamsburg, Chapel Hill, Birmingham, New Orleans, Lakeland and Miami at the tail end of the tour were cancelled.’

So either these dates didn’t sell well. Or he had other reasons for wanting to cut the tour short.

I also believe these were his first ever solo cancellations.

I've been there. I saw him at Brandeis on that tour. I think he canceled the rest of his US dates after the Centrum date too. Sorry, that must have sucked.

Hello Redacted 😎
Can I ask how many times you’ve seen
Mozz, and if you’ve suffered any
Cancellations.
Hi Baz. Four times. One time he did walk off stage after a few songs, but no outright cancelations. Other times I bought tickets then sold them because I thought he would cancel because he'd been canceling, but can't remember if he did. Another time I gave my tickets to a friend, and he went ahead with that show. I just don't buy them anymore.

Oh crap…. How did you cope with that?
Were you actually in line???

My one and only time was err… (Nottingham)
Not that I mention it that much 😬😬

Anyhow, I was there with my eldest daughter…
And I’d arranged to meet up with 85.

So…..

All 3 of us were sitting straight across from the venue having a drink outside in the rare
British sunshine….

When 2 women with original
Queen is dead t shirts on, sat down beside us.

I knew that, they didn’t know that the show was off.

I personally had to tell them the news as they sat down with their drinks…..

I’ll never forget the look on her face
When I informed her….

It was like… f*** sake … not again.

I was not in line, I was in the venue in my seat, lol
He came out, was complaining a bit, you could tell he was not in a good mood. It was an outdoor venue on the ocean, covered, beautiful day but a bit warm since it was June.

He seemed to feel the audience was not enthusiastic enough. He also said he was on a late night show the night before and the air conditioning was too cold and bothered his voice, but he sounded really good. He did a few songs, then just turned around and walked offstage and never came back.

People started to get restless and chanting Morrissey. Then a very young man who looked like a teenager came out and said Morrissey was not coming back out. People started stamping their feet and kicking the seats and I was :popcorn: saying they were not leaving, it got quite loud. After what seemed like a long time and everyone was still there another person came out and said they were working out a new date, so everyone waited. A while later he came out again and told us the new date and said we would be getting emails.

We did, and the email said you could have a refund instead but your orginal tickets would be honored. We decided to go back and see him on the new date. A lot of people did not probably because it was the Saturday after July 4 and people were probably away. Morrissey complained about this and other things through the entire show. I can't say it was a good experience.

Sorry yours was entirely canceled, that is so frustrating.

Wow…. What a twat…..
A professional twat at that.
A good tale there Redacted 🙏

I’ll never forget that look on that woman’s face as she told her girlfriend that the Nottingham gig was cancelled….

I felt like I was a news reader talking to Nottingham…. Why me???

Anyhow… my eldest and 85
Made up for the utter carnage
And had a right olde British piss up 😃

And…..

I was recognised by an ex solo user
Outside of the pub…

Dale wharf was his name…

I know you he said, your , your biz, err
The poetry guy from solo.

I took a step back as I didn’t know if he was going to chin me….
I actually for a second or two
Stood back.

Then I had to tell him my full username…

I said I’m Carlislebaz…

That’s it, he said… I love your poetry….
We shook hands then he shuffled on..

I have to say, I was genuinely shocked and quite frightened that I was known in the street.

It’s only happened the once.
Thankfully…

PS

VIVA HATE PLAYS 😁😄😁
