The November 19 show at OLG Fallsview at Niagara Falls has sold out (5,000 tickets.)

Look at the comments on the MorrisseyOfficial Facebook and instagram posts. There are invariably numerous comments about him cancelling. No matter what the statistics show, he is known for cancelling.
That's you, I surely don't see it that way, ...1983-present.....I've been canceled on 1 time .

Morrissey:
~1100 concerts.
~309 cancelled/postponed (majority of postponed = never rescheduled).
(which is about a 28% no show rate)

Smiths:
~200 recorded gigs.
~11 known cancelled/postponed.
(which is about a 5.5% no show rate).

I haven't the time to sift things out by years etc or adjust for postponed gigs that later took place - for this quick search, it is assumed that postponed still = disappointed fans missing a gig.
Regards,
FWD.

And that’s the problem, he wants what others have but doesn’t put the leg work in. I’m off to see New Order and Johnny Marr to tomorrow. New Order haven’t released a studio album since 2015 but tomorrow there will be 30000 people watching them and they still sell out arenas world wide.

I like seeing pictures of bands rehearsing like these from New Order yesterday, it takes 2 seconds to post stuff like this.

The only person getting in the way of Morrissey doing gigs like Wythenshawe Park is Morrissey himself.

I was meant to see New Order on Thursday. But they pulled a Mozzer. Cue some very disappointed folk drinking round various bars in Cardiff. And an impromptu New Order party which went on till um very late.

Hope there's better luck with the Manchester date

I find it excruciatingly embarrassing that at 65 years of age, he needs to announce to the world how many tickets he's sold for one show. The massive ego and deeply entrenched insecurities are as strong as ever.
It makes him..... unlikeable.

I have a recollection of him wanting to "never play Canada again " , not sure what the reason was ...maybe seals?
Yes, seal clubbing and shooting. I don’t remember him explaining in words why he decided to give Canadians another chance. Maybe there are clues as to why in the footage of the concerts he then came to Canada and entertained us with.

He explained on Central:
My decision to return to Canada after almost 15 years of protest against its savage and Neanderthal annual Baby Seal Kill is entirely because my stance was ultimately of no use and helped no one. My voice was drowned out by the merciless swing of spiked axes crushing the heads of babies. On my return to Canada I feel that I can be of more use by making sizeable donations to animal protection groups in each city that I play. Thankfully there are many such organizations in Canada: Toronto Pig Save, Ottawa Animal Save, St John’s Chicken Save, Vancouver Chicken Save, and also PETA USA and DxE / Direct Action Everywhere. Certainly, any and all of these groups are welcome to set up stalls at our concerts. We are here to save as many lives as possible. The current Canadian government neurotically preach diversity: the understanding that each individual is unique, and has much to offer because of their differences. This tolerance does not extend to the seal family – who hurt no one, yet who have no rights to life in the new non-discriminatory Canada. Will my Canadian tour be a success? I have no idea. I shall give my best and do my best. We are all passionately looking forward to renewed friendships.”

They didn’t ‘pull a Mozzer’ the organisers stopped the show due to the weather warnings.

Really? If the mainstream media had labelled you as 'far right' and tried to destroy your career - wouldn't you want to post something celebrating the fact that people still have minds of their own and want to come hear you sing?

I've been the victim of cancellations SEVEN times. Starting way back in 1991. The most brutal was Madison Square Garden in 2007. I went down from Boston and flew a friend in from the West Coast at huge expense for that one. Morrissey cancelled the gig just three hours before showtime. No apology of course. You can be sure he slept like a baby that night. He does not care about his fans. Now nothing could compel me to travel more than ten miles for a Morrissey concert. Do so at your own risk-
