So why post he’s sold 5k tickets for one of his shows on this tour, some of the other sold out venues have a capacity of 1500, he hadn’t mentioned the number of tickets he’s sold there.

Who knows, maybe because it is quite a special place. Has he ever performed there before?

It is but lots of bands post stuff like this and say thank you for your support at the end rather than the amount of tickets sold. There’s a real insecurity thing going on there.

His legs look so short now. He used to be tall and lanky.

His passport said 5 foot 8.

I don't think he was ever tall and lanky. I think it was accentuated somewhat because he was so slim back then.

Now he is a meaty fella, the legs are fuller. That's why he needs the flares you see, because of his now absolutely giant calves and thighs.

I believe he was listed as being 6'0"...I don't know why he looks so stocky, perhaps even bow legged now. I guess everything just goes to shit when you get old.

Sorry, I forgot the half inch. Passport says 5 feet, 8 and a half inches. Which I can well believe.

The first time I saw Morrissey live, I was at the front and it was quite interesting to me that he was much shorter than I had imagined, or than he seemed to appear in photographs.

He still looked great to me. He does seems to have a long torso, so perhaps the legs are the short end of the deal after all. Who knows. Maybe he was actually still yet to grow a further four inches when the passport was first issued!

Let's see if others here who might have seen him up close can add anything.

Most touring bands have record contracts, and aren’t toxic pensioners desperate to prove they still have an audience.

I like Morrissey, but even I can’t be bothered with the drama/politics any more. It’s just so f***ing tiresome.

He just needs to release his own music and forget the old days. The old music record biz is dead.

I can't remember to be honest. I think he has? I just come to Moz Solo every day (since forever) hoping the headline will be 'New album release date announced'. I've been coming here regularly for at least 22 years and am slightly sad to see how many once regular members have fallen away.
