I was only at the Rochester show so I can't say how it compared to other shows but 80% of the stage, the entire middle, was a giant empty orchestra pit with a total of about 20 total people against the barriers on the left and right of the stage. The balcony was full of people with seatbelts on.

The sounds was great but he can't hear it from the stage. The venue was pretty nice and clean but didn't look as good as others on this tour.

I wish I knew the criteria for best because this was a fine show, very good to be up front for, but not one that seemed to give him a ton of energy back.
The moat in front of the stage in Rochester was a bummer

Oh god - he's gonna do the lists again? He lists nearly all shows at some point in some arcane standard and those particular fans go apeshit over when reading of the show(s) attended.
His OCD at making lists of the order of his favourite shows is amusing, but he really needs to take it to the next level. Come on Mozza - let's break this down further - how about listing your favourite songs from the Rochester setlist in order?

I wish they would stop listing the gigs in order of how they liked them. Do they not realise that in doing so, they list the places that they thought less of, at the bottom of the list. Insulting your audience is not a smart move. If you particularly liked a show, just highlight it on its own.

FINALLY, this has been cleared up. Thanks Morrissey.

104 days ago you issued a statement via Jesse about “forthcoming releases”. How about an update on that?

I wonder if he liked Rochester so much because he tried a garbage plate. Google it.
I have to ask you, what is the significance of Rochester?
You'd made several comments - at least he sold out Rochester, at least he'll see Rochester and some others. He said he wants to buy a place in the woods in Rochester and live there, now he lists it as the best show.

Insiders don't talk about being insiders. That's why they're insiders. You don't know shit, and you don't know what may be around the corner. You didn't have to add that last line, you nasty knob.
Why are you and some other really irrational people so rude to people who say they are insiders? Nasty knob? And a gif of someone being punched in the face. How mentally unstable are you. Really. It's perfectly reasonable to want information about alleged forthcoming releases since Morrissey did post it on his own site. I don't think you can really judge the behavior of an insider, how they should act, by your own psycho standards. Read some of the things this poster has said then compare them to what's happened, surely even you can connect the dots, it's pretty simple.

Hah! If I met him I'd talk about something else. I don't want to burden him. What a bad first impression.

I honestly don't know what I'd talk about though, I'm very socially awkward. :(
Not that though. Not that.
You're very charming though, you'd think of a nice way to say it.

I just had an ex from upstate NY and have spent a lot of time between Rochester and Buffalo. I just think it’s funny he’s making sure he plays the smallest markets in the country and calling it “continued success”. No inside info there.

Ah, thanks. I did find some of the locations strange, I said so when they were announced.

To be fair, quite a lot of these venues (or of similar size and location) are places they have played previously throughout the years.
FWD.

Currently this tour routing looks very silly because it’s happening in a vacuum. It looks like Moz chose to do a random two week tour of small US cities while his empire burns, when in actuality we were meant to have a new single, album details, and residency dates announced just before these dates. This was meant to be a sort of rebuilding process after the YATQ20 fiasco. Get 4 shows in Vegas under your belt, sign the deal, announce the small us tour, then release the single and announce the album and more dates, slay on these shows and build excitement around the new music…

I can see how these shows are sort of the beginning of a rehabilitation, but it's true that there isn't any context to the tour. Having basically the same setlist again doesn't make any sense, but I think it's all this band can play.....barely. He really does need better musicians because these people are holding him back with their limited abilities and botching songs. I think someone here said well, he has to remember all the lyrics to all the songs so he can't do more, or something equally ridiculous. Um, he wrote the songs, if we can memorize lyrics to many of his songs, so can he.

I'm not irrational. I'm realistic. Morrissey did not want the deal, apparently, if there ever was one, so he decided against it. Maybe you think he's hard to please, but he knows what he wants and how he thinks they should treat him, so who am I to question that? It's his career, record deal or not, I'm there, so I'm just happy he's touring. Do I want the new material released? Of course. But I trust Moz to do what he feels is best for him. It isn't easy for him, as we can all see. Art is much more valuable and important than a contract. He's losing money by scrapping the deal, not gaining from it.

Insiders don't talk. Period. Ever. And if they do, they don't deserve the position. There's a great lyric I could use here for this question and your friend, but I won't use it.

Yes, nasty knob. Garbage plate was a very, very, VERY low blow.

I'm completely stable, Thanks.

I see. I did not expect NC to be on his list of 5, 10, 20, or even 100. But it was the most wonderful night I've ever had.

i think this is kinda a great idea and would make for a nice piece somewhere. morrisseys favorite morrissey songs and why. whats songs are chosen for the lyrical subject matter and whats chosen just because its joyous to sing the melody. i would welcome some talk about the actual music

No, you are not stable if 'Garbage plate' set you off, it's actually a local dish in Rochester, NY, it's famous. How is that a low blow, and why would it cause you to call someone a nasty knob and post a gif of someone getting punched in the face. Why would it make you violent? Do you think people try local dishes when they travel? Crazy. Get a grip. Not the behavior of a rational person, oh it comes in a vegan version too. Maybe Morrissey did try it.

You are clueless.
