Instead of "I ex love you, uh uh uh," the chorus should be: "I don't love you, anymore, anymore." I mean, is it going to start a new trend? I ex love that movie, I ex love spaghetti, I ex like working out, I ex love basketball but now I prefer tennis, I ex love pizza...
Let’s not worry about it. These shitty songs will never see the light of day anyway.

Is it just me or is Jesse giving off some strong Lee Harvey Oswald vibes? :lbf:

Definitely some unique shirts re: Houston / space. Guess the field trip to NASA helped.

"Houston, we have a problem" is popularly misquoted as a phrase spoken during Apollo 13, a NASA mission in the Apollo space program and the third meant to land on the Moon. After an explosion occurred on board the spacecraft en route to the Moon at 55:54:53 (03:07 UTC on April 14, 1970),<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Houston,_we_have_a_problem#cite_note-a13fj-1"><span>[</span>1<span>]</span></a> Jack Swigert, the command module pilot, reported to Mission Control Center in Houston, Texas: "Okay, Houston ... we've had a problem here."<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Houston,_we_have_a_problem#cite_note-cortright1975-2"><span>[</span>2<span>]</span></a> After being prompted to repeat his words by Jack R. Lousma, the capsule communicator at Mission Control, Jim Lovell, the mission commander, responded: "Ah, Houston, we've had a problem."

He said that he was suffering from physical illness !
Who isn't.
Yes, it’s a trap. I’m trying to live up to my trashy reputation. No, sorry, I was talking to the plant.
To my ears, and following on from the trashy mention, it also has a New York Dolls vibe.
Drinking brings out the worst in people.
Is that your excuse for weaponising your supposed 'insider' knowledge?
So the band did make the effort of painting on Halloween face masks. Subtly glam!

I found this Houston Press' preview but a standard review of what seemed like a vibrant show with an excellent set-list would be great.
Thanks for posts and views :tiphat:

That’s the plain truth, albeit a tough pill to swallow for most fanatics
I haven’t felt the magic after hearing a new song for quite some time
Well, some people will take any tiny crumb he throws which doesn't really motivate him to do better. He did not sell out this tour, he should be worried about that.

Marr has hinted at it in several past interviews over the years... also, if you've had close family/relatives who were functioning alkies (and I grew up with 2) you can generally spot it in others. I doubt he's still drinking gin by the gallon as per Noel and Liam Gallagher's anecdotes, but the general lack of energy and his offstage behaviour suggests he's anything but the 'glass or two of claret with dinner on Friday night' casual either.
It's painfully obvious he has a drinking problem and it has been spoken about by other people. True, Johnny and the Gallaghers have talked about it.

Someone needs to break the story of why none of his old musicians (ex-Tobias) are working with him anymore, and are in fact touring and playing Morrissey’s music without Morrissey. Think about wtf must have happened to make Alain and the boys do that. Wild that all sides are pretending that nothing super weird is going on.

Can’t tell us why Keith and the rest of the band are on tour without Mick, or Perth, etc…. BUT HEY GUYZ IT WAS A PEN NOT A VAPE!!!

This just all reads like alcoholism. His ex band members are sick of the abuse so they are doing their own thing for a minute, but they aren’t publicly saying anything because they hope their old friend gets his shit back together someday, so they don’t wanna burn the bridge. And alcoholics are hard enough to deal with when they haven’t collapsed their universe to only include yes-men and yes-nephews on the payroll.
It would seem his 'rest' in Switzerland was probably rehab and he said something about a health problem, which probably means he is probably too drunk off his ass and hungover to pull it together. He looks like a drunk, they don't age well.

I've heard this alluded to before, but that's it. Would someone mind enlightening me?
There is video of it somewhere, lemme find it. As I recall, he first wrote some frantic post on Central telling us that something would be released to make him look bad but it's not true, then the story and video came out. I know the threads are here too.

Thank you! I had totally forgotten about that. I mean, lol because he is right, pilots can talk for 90 seconds and you still have no idea why you are delayed.

That said, he also does seem in an altered state.

A drinking habit he eventually knocked on the head around the same time Morrissey was picking up the pace on his. They both share several close freinds, and were (until a few years ago) still in email contact with each other. Im sure he knows very well what's going on, even if its only 2nd hand info from mutual freinds.
Could be a reason he turned down the reunion, although I am sure there are many others
