But releasing anything would require some kind of interviews or engagement with fans, be it with social media or interviews, which he seems to have zero interest in doing with anyone other than a joke like Fiona. Gone are the days when the label does all the work for you, so apparently gone are the days of new Morrissey LP’s.

This can piss off people, but don’t be fooled into believing he’s callous. He’ll get around to making it up to you when he’s ready to. He will be ready before you know it. Morrissey fans really are content with less than bare minimum. If any other artist would charge 200$ for less than 20 song set and instead of an encore they would do a slideshow there would be outrage. "Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?"

Unfortunately, Dog was released 3 days prior to the UK Covid lockdown (March 23, 2020).
He managed two gigs for the entire year and played 3 tracks from it during the last gig of 2022 prior to all the cancellations (Cologne, March 9, 2022).
Dog material was then played when gigging returned in August 28, 2021.
Pretty much all the wind was taken from the sails at that point.

Yet, for once, this was the response:

When I was involved I was asked to come up with a career highlight for every year in order to put a video together.

I struggled for any real highlights past 2012.

Would you like to list them for me?

Man, it would have been so cool if Morrissey didn’t part ways with Pete Galli, because you would have, to some degree, worked with Morrissey yourself.

But it wasn’t to be. You really shouldn’t take it out on Morrissey here in the threads everyday
simply because you’re still upset that you won’t be able to work with him.
