Once again, this site assures anyone who is interested that Morrissey has no authority or control over ticket prices or how tickets are sold. Morrissey is not included in any conversations regarding concert tickets, and he is only aware of ticket prices by checking venue events calendars.

That’s clearly the intention, but bitcoin and other digital currencies will circumvent the power-grab I expect. Not that Joe Bloggs will benefit from that.

It’s on record that the availability of cash, and related bank runs, was something that governments regretted in 2008; I’m mildly surprised that some think the related desire to end physical money is some kind of conspiracy theory.

I hate that I have to download a damn app to use concert tickets; I had to for the Vegas show.
A week after the show I got a physical letter in the mail saying Ticketmaster has been hacked and people's personal info has been leaked. It's anxiety inducing.

I'm sick of this overly-digital age. Not everything needs to be hooked up to the fooking internet... This world gets further and further into the digital hell hole every year. I hate it so much. SO. MUCH.

I feel so trapped by it all. It's hard to function without a cell phone in today's society and live a "normal" life. The wires are alive; they coil around me and pull me down. That's just how it feels.

It's nice to know that somewhere on the other side of the world there is someone who thinks similarly.

All in all , we will all end up in a meat grinder, just like the pupils in PF's "The Wall".

Had the same in Toronto on Wednesday, I wanted to use the cash I had left before we went home so I wouldn't lose out on the conversion back to pounds. We bought sandwiches and when I went to pay she said we only take cards, she then kicked off about wasted effort as she had made them so I pointed out that it doesn't say card only anywhere.

I’m just so pleased about Johnny and his ticket prices. For real. This is important to me. Our currency is very weak against the dollar/pound.
