This is probably the most depressing NYE 'celebration' I have ever seen. We had parade of dead people, Morrissey could not be bothered to address his own audience and do the countdown, his parading back and forth on the stage with a sign, then he plays this song

Exactly this. Moz is just being honest. NYE ultimately relies on the inevitability that we are all doomed. That's why most people inebriate themselves. Or chase tail. To forget that simple fact.

Serious question and its as cliche as you would expect? Why the hell do you come here? It's New Year and yet, despite your apathy and indifference to M, your fingers still feel the need to reach a vocal platform. Attention? Mummy or Daddy issues? I dunno. I been around since Hand in Glove and have never martyred Moz. He's human, like us all. I genuinely don't get it.
