Come Armageddon , come !!

Look back in Anger !!!

Half a person
( unfortunately not as good as saturday rendition )

I wondered if the Sunday night rendition was similar to the Saturday night one. Thanks for the video.

I may have been unnecessarily harsh in my immediate reaction to Half A Person on Saturday night, looking back at it now it was truly magical (but still a tad odd).

Why do so many people here go on about how good he looks? He looks exactly like what he is, an elderly seen-better-days former popstar on the slide down. He and Iggy should sing a shirtless duet and bump chests so we can all throw up in unison. I know I'm talking about icons we should cherish but I'm sick of old-fart rock and roll.
He’s 64! That’s not elderly or I’m next for the nursing home lol! I think he looks splendid!

He looked like he was fighting back tears near the end, which makes it a wonderful rendition.
Interesting that you note that. On videos and in live setting it it always looks like he tears up a tiny bit during this song recently. It's very subtle but I saw that too. Seems to be an especially emotional song for him with powerful memories attached to it.

Could be, he mentioned her in Israel.

But yesterday someone also mentioned Nana Mouskouri being new on the intro video’s, so it could also have been her. Or they were mistaken.
The mention of 'black is the colour...' helped.
I think Nana & Esther were both played, but haven't found the Mouskouri song title yet.
Regards,
FWD.

the tears could be for jane birkin, another person he knew that sadly passed away,so many of his associates and idols have passed in the last few years.

yeah. He usually points to the Dolls image.
I think there may be a mix of regret and treasuring of how he spent his youth, obsession in isolation with particular artists, and how that sculpted him and how he got to where he is now. Or not.

Deep conversation !

Cuando means when in Spanish. So maybe he means "tell me when".
Ya, that's pretty obvious but he should still lose it. When I saw him for the first time in 2011 he sang Sunday, without any lyric changes, it was perfect. This Quando version is blasphemy.

Look back in Anger !!!

Great, passionate delivery there from Moz, & pleased to see this track back in the set-list.
Additional (new) lyrics after the 'go easy' bits: 'be nice, be nice, be nice', & 'be kind, be kind, be kind'.
Seems to have been well received also by the crowd.

Re: Liberties - believed to be the stomping ground of his father (The Thomas House).

Re: female video:
Esther Ofarim?

Re: Bowie:
Currently have "Karma Man" as played.
Regards,
FWD.

Yes, it was Esther Ofarim.

Not sure about the Bowie clip. He was wearing Starman-era make-up.

During the intriguing run of clips about gender identity, a woman from the 60s appeared saying something like, 'pussies pussies pussies, that's all we hear nowadays.'
