Good set list apart from Munich which is painful and Dykes which was the worst song on YATQ.
Agree on Munich. I find it so dull. Was shocked when it reappeared in 2017-2019, and even more shocked that it has been dusted off again.

"All The Lazy Dykes" is alright, though it baffles that he plays this over several dozen other wonderful songs that have sat on the shelf for far too long.

Not to put my finger in it, but Dykes is such
a moving and original song. Two reasons enough to do it again.

I would pay the ticket price just to hear Why Don’t You Find Out For Yourself…last played in 2009 in the UK? One of his very best and still resonates today easily in my top 5 solo. Criminal it’s been left on the shelf for so long but could say the same for all off Vauxhall.

The Boy Racer is a perfect opener and another from my favourite era, he just needs to add the operation drums intro as well 😁
Everything has already been said about Speedway but I’m just glad Moz is singing the whole song again. Another welcome return.

The rest of the setlist is pretty much as it was with some obvious head scratchers still hanging in there. As always he gives with one hand and takes away with the other

agree. But what setlist is absent of a few head scratchers? Wouldn’t be a Morrissey setlist without them.

Surprisingly nice to see some of the hits absent for a change. But it’ll never be ‘perfect’ for those of us that have been following him for years. Or for those that think that by purchasing a ticket that assures then that Morrissey will play what they want him to play, he’s not like other artists, fortunately.

Not really building my hopes up about BOT news.
I don't see it happening in the foreseeable future.
That last fiasco with Capitol has done untold damage.

Has it? He’s free of them. How quickly it gets released is now up to him, more or less.

As mentioned. I think he’s not doing songs with the exception of one, is because he’s saving them for the BoT tour.

I’m surprised more dates were not announced following these Vegas shows. It would be well for him to tour BoT in spring.
Then again, I wouldn’t be surprised if a fall/winter release and tour was announced.

Yes you heard it here first!;)

The attack on The Strip of an identifiable Morrissey fan reminds me of a man sitting beside me on the bus about a month ago who thought I was insulting him when I asked him if he’d heard Morrissey’s song I’m Not A Man, and he was verbally abusive to me ad nauseum after telling me not to talk to him. Another man at the opposite side of the bus eventually piped up and told the abusive guy to shut up, and the abusive guy shouted that he knew the other guy was gay, to which the kind guy answered “I’m gay?”. At one point the abusive guy stood up and rushed over to stand ready to fight the kind guy, and the kind guy stayed seated, but observant and ready to defend himself if need be. I tucked my sticky notes back into my pouch and zipped it shut in preparation for a potential dust up. The abusive guy went back to his seat beside me. His vibe was aggressively disrespectful and self righteous in choice of words, verbosity, tone of voice, and body language. My adrenaline was going, as I waited to approach my bus stop. As we drew near to the stop, I went to the kind man and said “I only told him that I like Morrissey’s song I’m Not A Man.”, gave him a tiny pink sticky note with Morrissey written on it, and pointed to my Morrissey t-shirt and said ‘Morrissey’, to which he responded with the rock and roll hand sign. I signed back at him and then took my leave, as the body language of the two guys told me they were still engaged in arguing. The kind guy was much more physically and mentally solid than the mean guy, so I wasn’t very worried about the kind guy being able to disengage and tend to his business in one piece.

No he isn't like other artists fortunately, but unfortunately he expects to sell lots of records and get high chart placements and to do that you have to appeal to a wider audience, so as someone else pointed people who may have a interest will go to a gig and never go again as he didn't play anything they knew. Morrissey has a brilliant back catalogue and has a far better voice than Liam Gallagher (in my opinion) yet Morrissey is playing 4 nights to 1800 people a night whereas Liam played to 23000 a night on his 4 nights in Manchester and sells many thousands of albums.

Pretty sure Morrissey would prefer playing to Liam sized audiences and selling similar volumes of records (his obsession in chart placing is still there as you saw from his post regarding a chart that none of us can see) and the sad thing is, he could be if he put some effort into it.
