His career is one of the strangest cases of self-destruction you will ever see in pop rock history. It morphed into alternative radio back into the early 90's...not sure if it is still a thing because there are so few difference making young bands anymore--if any.

You're right, they don't challenge what you say, they choose to insult you instead. You would think they would want to know what happened and why, but it disrupts their fantasy, they're like children and you're telling them there isn't a Santa. Bizarre behavior for adults. They were also making excuses for Morrissey when the Miley emails were leaked and that was solid evidence Morrissey never addressed. He never addressed Marr's response to the recent drama. Morrissey pours gasoline on every fire he starts then slithers away, it's been a pattern with him for a long time and it's not hard to take info we are given and match it up to what happens publicly.
Even Dodwell pulled some of the things she wrote about Marr because Morrissey obviously could not be bothered to tell her the truth while she was making a fool of herself out there defending him. Again.

I’m convinced the real reason he doesn’t do Fiona-less interviews is he knows there is a laundry list of questions he simply can’t face from a competent interviewer. And I’m not even talking about the nonsense claims of racism, etc. Imagine me interviewing him and getting into World Peace, the Supreme fiasco, Viva Mozi Airlines, asking why Boz and Alain aren’t involved, but polite enough to not talk about it. The nephews KMAL vid and continued involvement. I’d skewer him and he’d shit himself. He’s painted himeself into a corner career-wise and his ego won’t allow a simple escape.

To be fair, he’s played Waukegan before, and I’ve always liked how he plays little cities. I’m from not far from Waukegan, and loved that I got to see him in tiny Madison, WI in 2000 with The Promise Ring. It’s the fact that he’s pretending selling out Waukegan in 2024 is something worth posting about. That’s the problem here.

He began the year silently cancelling two Los Angeles arena concerts because they were 20% sold, and ended it by holding up a Waukegan theater sell out as evidence of his continued glorious success. Confirmation bias much?
