Morrissey doorbell camera sighting (May 31, 2024)

I never understood how Morrissey could look at Damon. as an assistant. I think the explanation is that he's a patient and tolerant man apart from loving him, I guess
The bag-carrying, the walking miles behind, the lack of eye-contact. But then there's the constantly out together socially. When you say "patient and tolerant man", do you mean Damon...or Morrissey? Maybe Damon is really low maintenance, and that's how it works. There's also the age gap.........

What does intrigue me is that a photo of Morrissey's old house is circulating on social media, with a comment about the anniversary of Johnny Marr knocking on Morrissey's door being 31st May, and here we have an interesting parallel of Morrissey at someone else's door on May 31st! I wonder if it is an elaborate internet joke?

Maybe it's Johnny Marr's house. "The circle is complete".

Doesn’t matter if the post is from a year ago or from now. The only part that matters is that I only see half of a dimple on one single side. LUCKILY, today, and only today - for ONE single day exclusively, I am accepting FRACTIONS! ;)

Here's a fraction for you: his quiff is about 1/16th as thick as it was 1/3 of a century ago!

Don't hang me but there is an alternative reading of all this...

  • Damon is in the photo.
  • Moz is holding his hand in a funny way - not your typical 'thumbs up'.
  • 'New band alert' could mean a wedding band (i.e. wedding ring, as in ring a doorbell)
  • We all know how Moz loves playing with words.
  • Moz married Damon
Don't hang the wedding DJ!

There is yet another reading of this....maybe Moz is indeed recruiting a new member, possibly someone fairly famous. From Wikipedia:

Laurel Canyon became a nexus of counterculture activity and attitudes in the mid-late 1960s and early 1970s, becoming famous as home to many of L.A.'s rock musicians, such as Cass Elliot of the Mamas & the Papas; Joni Mitchell; Frank Zappa; Jim Morrison of The Doors; Carole King; The Byrds; Gram Parsons; Buffalo Springfield; Canned Heat; John Mayall; members of the band The Eagles; the band Love; Neil Young; Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys as well as James Taylor, Jackson Browne, J. D. Souther, Judee Sill, Linda Ronstadt and Stone Poneys, Ned Doheny, Bonnie Raitt, Harry Nilsson;[42] and Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork of The Monkees.

Although..errr...a lot of them are dead.

don’t know if she’s vegan. She might be.

Had to look that up. Haven’t watched TV since
the mid 90’s.
Since the 90's? Does that include streaming services? What about The Importance of Being Morrissey, Who Put The M In Manchester, Live At Hollywood High? Old Top Of The Pops reruns? I guess all of that is on UTube. But what about fantastic TV shows like The Haunting Of Hill House, Midnight Mass, Three Body Problem, Zerozerozero, etc etc?

Looks to me like moz is saying “Get yer ass out here!” and gesturing outside. Or maybe he’s making fun of her broken finger

Surprised no one noticed. But they probably got a new guitarist, since Jesse clearly lost one of his hands.
