I still don't know what to make of all this. A strange re-release from 1993 for which 4 concerts are announced. A small venue, which is of course full and gives the impression that the demand is huge. Large portions of YATQ, which they actually wanted to celebrate in January and Morrissey, who seems to be in quite a good mood. The two withheld new albums are no longer discussed and BWD is actually only advertised via the merch stand. And now? The immediate announcement of the two new releases and a triumphant world tour or a continued career in the Golfish Bowl? Did he say anywhere why Solomon was replaced? I missed it.

Does Morrissey ever give an explanation for why band members come and why band members leave?
My first and benign thought was that Juan was not available for all 4 nights. Juan has been in the band for some time now, and I suppose he would be the first choice.
It is indeed interesting that YATQ songs dominated the setlist. So Morrissey was committed to YATQ anniversary concerts after all? Or was it just that the YATQ songs had already been rehearsed and that they didn’t make time to rehearse some BWD tracks?
Glad to hear his voice is still as good as ever.

I like the way he dresses, nothing remarkable, but at least he didn't wear those huge pants. But there is something very ugly that is his shoes, Morrissey needs to modernize his footwear. Please!! What horrible shoes, why don't you wear more modern shoes

He wears what he likes. He isn't a dress up doll for fans.

I was wondering if anyone was going to mention Boy Racer. It’s one thing to do a complete reinterpretation of a song (a la First Of The Gang…), but to, either intentionally or unknowingly, play the songs wrong is a bit of a shame. Between this, Fatty and other tunes mentioned by others, it’s perplexing that it’s permitted.

Having said that, I can’t play a lick and realize it’s just not as simple as saying “play the song correctly”, but someone like M at this point in his career shouldn’t have to worry about this stuff (maybe he doesn’t?). Matt and Sol are top tier and provided renewed hope… and not surprisingly, played to expectations. But, their backs must be killing them from carrying the load. Maybe that’s why Sol left?

Solomon is full time for Bryan Adams he and his brother are top notch - too bad he couldn’t stay on

Yeah. It’s really haunting, actually. He was so excited and eager to get to Salinas. He wasn’t even supposed to be in that silly car, though. The idea was to pull it on a trailer but at the last minute Rolf, his mechanic, said to drive it instead. A car with that much power should not have been on a highway especially when the driver did not have experience driving it. Jimmy had raced in other races and even won a few, but the Porsche he had then was not as sophisticated as the Spyder. But, anyway. The crash happened and both drivers were equally at fault. Terrible tragedy

I just watched all the vids from this night. I haven’t seen them all from the first three nights, only a couple, so this was a treat. Wow, he sounds and looks amazing. HOW is he so handsome!?!?!

I definitely have him coursing through my veins, and I guess that was never going to go, and is never going to go.

He takes me to another world. And i hope he’ll continue to take me, farther and farther.

Makes me want to drape myself all over him and completely wrap him in all of my affection.

He thrills me on every single level. And he still thrills me every. single. time.

Yeah, I knew Solomon had chosen to work with Bryan over Moz previously. It was good to have them both back, whether temporary for these gigs or not. Sol and Matt are a welcome sight (and sound) to the band anytime.
