Inside information on Moz, Marr & management

Marr uses his twitter account and it gets a lot of interest. I don’t know why Morrissey doesn’t do so. It could be because Twitter/X can be a bear pit and if he fires off a tweet about politics that is a bit controversial then he’ll get pounced on. He’s maybe been warned off it.
It's for the very simple reason that 90% of people on Twitter who know who Morrissey is, think he's a c**t.

I'm not saying those people are right, or fair, but he would get eaten alive on that platform. (Unless he had the self-discipline only to ever tweet about music, or what certain lyrics mean to him, or about dead pop stars - but he doesn't.)

He can't apologize to Perth, or the Greek, etc., but people think he could handle Twitter? His communication only goes one way :)

If Master Tseng is on board, everything will make sense and I see it as credible.

Is he really recording another record with Chiccarelli (according to Carmen's interview) at the moment or does your statement about 3 (!!!) records simply include all the material from the last album sessions until 2023.
Maybe the prospect of a new record deal encouraged Moz to start working on new music? Or maybe this collaboration with Carmen was part of a bigger ‘marketing’ plan to make Moz appeal to a nw generation? It’s worth noting that Carmen is also managed by Pete Galli ( as Goinghome also mentioned). Time will tell if that collaboration will continue under the current circumstances, but I see no strong case fot it (for better or worse).

I agree. A part of me thinks the op is making up these rumors to "justified" his anger at Marr, and since some of his fans are so hungry to make Moz like the victim, they are eating this up.
I'm making this up, yet I'm logged into my account that I've had since the day David made accounts a thing in 2006. And you just came by as a "guest". Got it.

Don’t forget Nottingham.

Why didn't he play that one? I tried finding out but all I saw was someone who said the night before the crowd was shitty. Was there ever a reason sorted out for that one?
He was hungover as f***. The rest of the band were there and had drinks with some fans that afternoon, letting it slip that MOZI was tucked up in bed in hotel in London.

Marr seems to be behaving like a demon. If nothing else good comes out of this, people at least are finally getting a few more realistic glimpses of what he’s capable of, now and probably was too in the past. Like the fiddler who sold his soul at the crossroads to gain virtuosity, his headlong ambitions make him dangerous. He needs watching. Any shared terms would have to be very carefully drafted to prevent him abusing conditions as soon as he felt any little loophole gave him a green light. What was needed after all for Marr was the Red Light!!
You are obviously free to use whatever rhetorical flair and analysis you'd like, but asserting that Marr seems be behaving like s demon" who "needs watching" because his ambition makes him dangerous is a startling thing for someone who started an entire thread about "hate in moderation" and seems to be genuinely concerned about broad issues of online safety, rhetoric, and has expansive views on what should constitute defamation. Unless of course, concern for "hatred in moderation" is only primarily a concern as regards commentary about Morrissey's behaviors or behavior directed towards you.

Wouldn't the more heavily moderated online space for which you've advocated in previous threads and instances also necessarily include precisely the kind of loaded language and characterizations you've made here?

Although if Morrissey did Twitter like this, it would be amazing:

"To those of you who were so truly disappointed by my non-appearance in Nottingham last night, I wish I could bring myself to apologise. Tragically, however, I am still too indisposed to do so. Onwards we go, to the Leeds side streets..."

I don't know why are you using the years you've been on this forum as some sort of real evidence and receipts that what you say is true.

Noel Gallagher splits up with his wife -> Noel needs money -> Oasis reunite -> Said reunion reminds the public of a Smiths reunion -> Moz "reveals all" and says Johnny said No to a reunion -> JM posts Farage pic -> Moz spazzes out -> Media gets a hold of the drama -> Moz fires management -> All upcoming material pushed back another 5 years -> Cure releases new album in November

Cheers, Sara MacDonald.

In my professional life, every single conversation I have in any 24 hour period occurs ONLY under NDA.

If some genius in any party who was in any meeting with me or on any one of my conference calls then decided that they were going to go online to revel in gossiping about any of my business transactions - whether in negotiation stage, finalized, off the table, or ANY other possible incarnation - and thought it would be fine to do so as long as they did so “anonymously”, I would have their head on a STICK by the end of the day, their job on a silver platter before the week was out, and they would be sued to within an inch of their life before they could spin around, click their heels three times, and say “Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore now!”

And I don't know why you're trying so hard to not believe him when he has said that he talked to DavidT. If he's lying about talking to him too, surely DavidT, this website's owner would refute it by now. Omdke's longevity on this site makes it more believable because he seems to have talk about working in these types of company in the past (look at his past posts). Do you think he's just playing the long game all that while, just so he can con us right now?

If you're that worried about the Marr comment - which you claimed he's "making up these rumors to justify his anger at Marr", he has taken plenty of shots at Moz, moreso than Marr and seems to be (quite justifiably) more angry at Mozzer's behaviour with management. Why don't you say he's making up the rumours to justify his anger at Moz also? Or are you one of those "Morrissey is the big bad meanie one and Johhny f***in Marr has done no wrong in his entire life."

lets face it this thread 1s 12 pages of nothing based on hearsay.

Considering also the drunken plane incident - is Morrissey drunk-blogging? If so, he needs to dry out, check himself instead of wrecking himself.

and just imagine if Noel and wife never split up. Talk about a butterfly effect!
