“There is currently something happening, a finesse and ferocity coming from Morrissey and the band that is unparalleled to anything I’ve seen in my tenure as Morrissey’s guitarist for over 21 years. It’s an infectious excitement coming from him directly manifesting through the band and into the audience leaving everyone in a euphoric state,” says Jesse Tobias. “As much as he and the band have historically been put against the ropes, doubted, disregarded and judged harshly while others are given a free pass, Morrissey and the band will liberate and astound everyone with our forthcoming releases and shows … that's if you are open to music as a method for change and genuine excitement.”

The closest show to New England is a four hour drive, minimally, unless you live in CT, and then you have the luxury of two shows in...NJ?
People fly thousands of miles all over the world to see Morrissey, even though half the time he cancels on them. And you can't even be arsed to drive a measly 4 hours to see a show? Get some perspective, dude, and stop complaining.

This is amazing news. I feel like this is an equity tour for places that Moz has missed or canceled over the last 15 years. He hasn’t played in Baltimore since Halloween 2007 if my memory serves me well. He canceled the show a year or two later. Also, I don’t think he’s been to Durham since 2010 or so?

I’m confused because I got something that looked like separate pre-codes for a couple of cities when I RSVPed on the Instagram page and now bonfire. Presales always an adventure with Morrissey is it not?
He was in Durham in 2015.

Some lucky people are going to see Morrissey singing Jack The Ripper on Halloween. What an atmosphere that will be!

Enjoy!

The prospect of Bonfire is very exciting and that 'Jesse' statement is pure comedy gold, I love it!

Moz manifesting manic energy and "leaving us all in a euphoric state" :ROFLMAO: , someone needs to put down the wine. Jesse clearly didn't write it as the insecure axe-grinding is just too recognisable. 'Others are given a free pass...', oh who could he mean! Tells a guy to 'move on' and then continues to obsess over him more than anyone else alive, it's mad.

Ah, p'raps when I was 18 and going to see him would cost me nothing more than sleeping on cement the night before to buy a ticket I could easily scrounge the money for...the gamble would be romantic I'm 30 years past that, and having been burned, do rant. :tiphat:

The Shining GIF

For someone who could only do select shows - which ones do people think are least/most likely to be cancelled?
