“There is currently something happening, a finesse and ferocity coming from Morrissey and the band that is unparalleled to anything I’ve seen in my tenure as Morrissey’s guitarist for over 21 years. It’s an infectious excitement coming from him directly manifesting through the band and into the audience leaving everyone in a euphoric state,” says Jesse Tobias. “As much as he and the band have historically been put against the ropes, doubted, disregarded and judged harshly while others are given a free pass, Morrissey and the band will liberate and astound everyone with our forthcoming releases and shows … that's if you are open to music as a method for change and genuine excitement.”

You all should go to the ticket site and read the terms of the tickets, M is trying to keep resales at face value and there are some conditions you should know about if you need to sell your tickets for any reason.

BONFIRE as the pre-sale password? Is that supposed to be ironic or a joke. Who tours to promote an album, I'm sorry TWO albums, that have not been nor are likely soon be released?

I'll believe this when I see it. They said the same thing at the recently-announced Sex Pistols London shows, as this was supposed to be a benefit gig - within 1 second of the tickets going on sale, it was officially sold out and on resale sites for £££. Easy to say this stuff - harder to police https://louderthanwar.com/sex-pistols-tickets-problem/

Atlantic City is a pleasant surprise and even though Philadelphia is getting skipped this go around, AC is basically in Philly's backyard. Oddly enough the last time Morrissey was suppose to play Atlantic City was in 2014 at the Revel (which is now the Ocean). That show got cancelled and is probably the only time I was ever truly pissed off Morrissey canceled on a show I was attending, mostly because he played Boston the next day.

Definitely will be going to both New Jersey shows.

Reminiscent of how shops (I seem to recall Target here in the US being an example) sold Quarry without the machine gun in the cover image.
Yeah, I didn't get that either. I mean the possession of guns is legal in the US after all. Why would they censor it, that's so ridiculous.

British music Icon Morrissey headed to OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino

Looks like they quote a generic tour press release which was used in June in this:

Historic moment ahead! British singer, songwriter and pop-punk icon Morrissey will play live at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino on Tuesday, Nov. 19 (8:30 p.m.). Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, through ticketmaster.ca.

“Morrissey is known for his eccentric style, exuberant confidence and signature vocals,” said Cathy Price, vice president of marketing, Niagara Casinos. “Between both a renowned music catalog and unique artistic performances, fans will be thrilled to reconnect with such a timeless icon.”

Morrissey's influence and music legacy is irrefutable. Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in British pop, as well as one of the greatest lyricists of his generation, Morrissey has 13 solo studio albums, a string of No. 1 records, and an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music British music.

As lead singer of The Smiths, he marked forever the history of music with just four albums. As a soloist, he has consolidated a sound that still reverberates today. His forthcoming album, “Without Music The World Dies,” is an explicit declaration of love for music, making him one of the most acclaimed voices of the past four decades.

When the debut single from The Smiths, “Hand In Glove,” first emerged 40 years ago, the musical landscape was forever changed and launched a rich catalog of songs that includes anthems such as “This Charming Man” and “How Soon Is Now?” plus “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out,” “Suedehead,” “Everyday Is Like Sunday,” “Irish Blood, English Heart,” “First of the Gang to Die,” and many, many more. This tour will celebrate songs that have resonated with fans worldwide for 40 years.

...and that might just mean that songs from BOT and WMTWD will feature heavily in the setlists. Once again Morrissey leaves us guessing. Is this actually a BOT promotional tour? If so, very odd to put the shows on sale ahead of any release date announcement. I will admit that the suggestion of a new release is strong (the access code is BONFIRE :fire:).
That's exactly what I was thinking

weird, same with the baltimore date. i was supposed to go to a show forever ago at the Myerhoff maybe and it was canceled. also i think around 2014 i thnk. maybe hes making up for past cancled dates but either way its a red letter day (like your user name)

I like watching her play with Morrissey. She is clearly ecstatic.
I think having women in the band is a real plus and one of the best things about 'modern day Morrissey'. I'm guessing he felt pretty bruised by Alain leaving and taking Gustavo (who has played, sung and composed songs with Morrissey for years) with him. You just wouldn't get that dynamic with the two women on board. Like most people, I can't tell the difference between a competent guitarist and a great one, but she played with Jeff Beck live for a while so she must know her stuff.

And ASDA (I think, might have been Tesco) in the UK sold Low In High School in a slip-case to conceal that child wielding an axe.

But....Michael Caine wasn't in Where Eagles Dare. That was Richard Burton. It's late here so maybe I misread your post. Fantastic Christmas film.
