“There is currently something happening, a finesse and ferocity coming from Morrissey and the band that is unparalleled to anything I’ve seen in my tenure as Morrissey’s guitarist for over 21 years. It’s an infectious excitement coming from him directly manifesting through the band and into the audience leaving everyone in a euphoric state,” says Jesse Tobias. “As much as he and the band have historically been put against the ropes, doubted, disregarded and judged harshly while others are given a free pass, Morrissey and the band will liberate and astound everyone with our forthcoming releases and shows … that's if you are open to music as a method for change and genuine excitement.”

I knew I'd seen it previously in another form:

Artist's name: Fernando Eiras for all.
Regards,
FWD.

Still odd that one venue 'shopped the gun out of the tour image.

Morrissey and the band will liberate and astound everyone with our forthcoming releases and shows …

Pre-sale code is BONFIRE.

Surely the mention of 'releases' means Bonfire + Without Music, or perhaps Bonfire + a live album, or Bonfire + some reissues (Quarry, Ringleader, Maladjusted, Southpaw). Too many or's. Jaysuz why doesn't our Moz just say what is coming. Regardless, the statement from Jesse bodes well.

This cheaply AI generated poster and the over the top ridiculously pathetic statement penned to Jesse Tobias (doesn't matter if he actually wrote it or got it dictated) though...😂 It's so bad and cheap, I really canmot take this seriously anymore.
On the other hand - good that he is touring I guess, although it's again only in America. And for the millionth time there is a chance for some new releases? At this point I only believe it, when something is actually happening.

However you put it, 2004 was 20 years ago. Jesse joined in the latter part of 2004. He’s been in the band for 20 years, max. Not over 21 years.

Yes. Jesse's first live gig with the band was at the Chicago House of Blues on July 17, 2004.

His first studio recording session was also in Los Angeles, July 2004 with Jerry Finn. The following tracks were recorded with Boz, Gary, Deano, and Mikey Farrell as b-sides:

1) Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice
2) Friday Mourning
3) I Am Two People
4) No One Can Hold A Candle To You

I see Jesse has been hitting the booze.......

Wow, talk about striking while the iron is hot. This is fantastic news. Viva Morrissey stateside.

Curious isn't it? Almost as though Morrissey is writing these words and putting them in someone else's mouth?

I'm pleased with the announcement of this tour, but the idea that this statement was actually written by Jesse is hilarious! :lbf:
It sounds EXACTLY like Morrissey. Or, like dneuer said, AI--that has been fed a diet of Morrissey writings.

So...sincere query. Who does the actual venue booking, and how? Agree it's odd that there's no New England date. He's played Burlington VT before, Amherst, MA, Boston, Worcester. There's nothing. He'd surely sell out. I just saw Adam Ant play a cool music hall in NH, Tupelo Music Hall (English Beat opened). Sold out, packed to the rafters, brilliant venue. The closest show to New England is a four hour drive, minimally, unless you live in CT, and then you have the luxury of two shows in...NJ? What's the thought process? It can't be weather considerations as he's going to Rochester, NY. Oh, Bartleby. Oh humanity.

Come to Boston already, Mozzer. We're still waiting for a reschedule from 6 years back.

AI please generate an image of Morrissey striking a James Bond pose, holding a gun. Give it the fresh and innocent combination of Federer and Lando Norris. Oh, and put some colourful bonfire-like flames in the background because we're gonna need those for promo.

14 SHOWS IN THE UNITED STATES!! IT'S TOO MUCH!! IT IS SELFISH. M makes me tired

So you want him to come back and play for you, but I'm guessing that if he did, you probably wouldn't buy a ticket anyway because you're so angry and can't forgive him (let alone consider risking another cancellation)

You're in a bit of a bind my friend, because the anger is going to consume you if you don't release it fella.

This is amazing news. I feel like this is an equity tour for places that Moz has missed or canceled over the last 15 years. He hasn’t played in Baltimore since Halloween 2007 if my memory serves me well. He canceled the show a year or two later. Also, I don’t think he’s been to Durham since 2010 or so?

I’m confused because I got something that looked like separate pre-codes for a couple of cities when I RSVPed on the Instagram page and now bonfire. Presales always an adventure with Morrissey is it not?
