“There is currently something happening, a finesse and ferocity coming from Morrissey and the band that is unparalleled to anything I’ve seen in my tenure as Morrissey’s guitarist for over 21 years. It’s an infectious excitement coming from him directly manifesting through the band and into the audience leaving everyone in a euphoric state,” says Jesse Tobias. “As much as he and the band have historically been put against the ropes, doubted, disregarded and judged harshly while others are given a free pass, Morrissey and the band will liberate and astound everyone with our forthcoming releases and shows … that's if you are open to music as a method for change and genuine excitement.”

It sounds EXACTLY like Morrissey. Or, like dneuer said, AI--that has been fed a diet of Morrissey writings.
The incorrect discrepancy in the 21+ yrs would potentially be explained more easily if it was AI (at least in part). Surely, if anyone (anyone outside of the M history buffs here on Solo that nothing gets by) would know how long their tenure was in the band, it would be the person penning the piece, right?

Anyway, it doesn’t really matter… it gets the point across and plants the intended message in the heads of the fanbase.

The pixel police 🚨 on here might have been heard after all. Some much higher resolution images have just been posted on Central - 'It's Alive'

As long as he shows up I guess. Even though it didn't affect my dates, the fact that he only showed up to half the concerts for his December '23 Aus/NZ tour and also missed a couple of Asian dates still burns me.

Exactly. In USA dollars just to make everyone more angry.

What do you mean?

We all love how expensive everything is these days. We are just masochists. We LOVE it.

Get in training y'all, the heat turning up with these new shows. You know you won't be able to resist buying multiple tickets to multiple dates.

Don't forget your merch either, ya filthy animals.

So many of these dates are close to me oh my god. How am I gonna stop myself from buying a $1,000 worth of tickets tomorrow 😫
I've been there and I've done that. Unfortunately I don't have the kind of money to spend that I used to have. Hopefully I'll get to go to one of these shows though, perhaps the one in Newark, NJ. We'll see. The pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow and I'll be at my Dad's wake so... I'll have to wait for the regular sale on Friday, I believe.

I'm surprised Moz wants to be in the USA during the presidential election. He won't actually be playing on November the 5th but they don't count ballots all in one night anymore the way they used to back in the old days before computers and all that. I know Americans who don't want to be in the USA for election day!

Disappointed nothing was said about BOT or WMTWD during the Vegas shows, hopefully during one of these shows something will be said...

Also sad there's no shows in the New England area. Closest one to me is 5 plus hours away
Same here, tho I did take a trip to Montclair, NJ when Bryan Ferry and Elvis Costello were playing there seperately on different nights and the drive really was not bad at all from Boston.

So you want him to come back and play for you, but I'm guessing that if he did, you probably wouldn't buy a ticket anyway because you're so angry and can't forgive him (let alone consider risking another cancellation)

You're in a bit of a bind my friend, because the anger is going to consume you if you don't release it fella.
I want you to understand what I think and feel. Morrissey canceled twice in my country Argentina, he has the right to do so because if he got sick the fault is not his or anyone else's. What bothers me is his coldness, his lack of empathy in not saying anything about it, I'm not saying that he apologizes, or that he gives us detailed explanations of his cancellations, I just ask for some kind words from his fans. M does not believe that behind the money of a ticket there is emotion, feeling and a lot of desire to hear his voice and that the issue does not go through the money. My claim is more emotional. He never said anything, he didn't take anything into account, then he complains because they mistreat him and they don't love him. It's a self-centered attitude that I don't like at all.
I want you to understand once and for all, I'm a true fan, no one pays me to write here, I have no interests, I'm only interested in a singer. It hurt because I thought the man was a better person. He cannot think that there are people who can value him beyond the fact of being an artist. If he returned to my country I would go and take the risk. Mine is not a matter of money, for M it is, or at least it does not show it and that disappoints. We are all human and no one is saved alone. Sometimes reading a few words can relieve many and he is included. The issue goes deeper than it seems to some

The prospect of Bonfire is very exciting and that 'Jesse' statement is pure comedy gold, I love it!

Moz manifesting manic energy and "leaving us all in a euphoric state" :ROFLMAO: , someone needs to put down the wine. Jesse clearly didn't write it as the insecure axe-grinding is just too recognisable. 'Others are given a free pass...', oh who could he mean! Tells a guy to 'move on' and then continues to obsess over him more than anyone else alive, it's mad.
Super agree Ammy: In the last part of Tobias' message you can tell that he didn't write it, it seems more like a propaganda of the type, everyone come, no one will leave disappointed... It sounds like verse to me, someone wrote it and put Tobias as a signatory

So...sincere query. Who does the actual venue booking, and how? Agree it's odd that there's no New England date. He's played Burlington VT before, Amherst, MA, Boston, Worcester. There's nothing. He'd surely sell out. I just saw Adam Ant play a cool music hall in NH, Tupelo Music Hall (English Beat opened). Sold out, packed to the rafters, brilliant venue. The closest show to New England is a four hour drive, minimally, unless you live in CT, and then you have the luxury of two shows in...NJ? What's the thought process? It can't be weather considerations as he's going to Rochester, NY. Oh, Bartleby. Oh humanity.

Come to Boston already, Mozzer. We're still waiting for a reschedule from 6 years back.
He skipped Boston last year too. I LOVE Tupelo. I think it was great when it was in the smaller place, have not been to the larger place.

Join the club, nothing out West, though I did just see him in Vegas
