Don't expect anything explanation by Morrissey to make sense, or to be revealing. His comments are confusing because they are inherently shallow.

We're talking about a guy who said Obama isn't a real black president; as if some white-bread English wall-flower who is afraid of everyone, gets to decide who is really black or not.

Even his pandering to Jews is suspicious because it was rumored that he made an anti-semetic remark toward Spencer Cobrijn. Spencer's friend, and band-mate said that the fax that put Spencer in a funk was "Your Loss Jew-boy!" Who would make that up?
