Mala Noche (also known as Bad Night) a 1986 American drama film based on Walt Curtis' autobiographical novel. It marked Gus Van Sant's directorial film debut, and stars Tim Streeter, Doug Cooeyate, Ray Monge, and Nyla McCarthy.
I do have to say, smiler, I wasn't sure about this choice on first watching, as Maladjusted has always struck me as one of Morrissey's very 'English' songs - with all those place names, Fulham Road, Stevenage, SW6, and feeling stifled and restricted. I can see though that you have also used London footage to balance with the US footage. And I imagine too the theme of the song is universal, and not just about dreary London. It does work, and Morrissey clearly likes it, so well done!
