The video clips played for ganglord were brutal. Accurate. but brutal. I love that he put the song in and used these video clips for it. We have a police problem he’s artfully bringing attention to.

It’s worth noting how many new movies were in the lead up. So many. He even played “clumsy” by girl in a coma … brought me back to seeing them open for him in 2007.

I think we saw more quarry era songs because the walkers are in the lineup. No big mystery.

I loved the show tonight. And I look forward to tomorrow. Will attempt to minimize excitement while typing while relaying the set list. No promises.

There were some high points, of course. Don’t mean to shit all over the show. I know I’m a jaded old fool who saw him in this venue in 1999 and 2002.

Overall it just all felt like a missed opportunity, especially given how these shows have been hyped. I will say hearing “I like you” again was great..

Maybe tomorrow will be a bit different?

Oh, I understand where you're coming from. We certainly do have a problem. That's why I never leave my house these days.

More changes to the SOS than expected, that is a plus.
The return of « Why don’t you find out for yourself » is also very heartening.
But judging by the heavy focus on the 2004 - 2006 era, it feels more like a celebration of 20 years of Quarry instead of the reissued Beethoven.
Looking forward to watching the footage and hearing some recordings later.
