Appreciate the setlist in real-time.
Thank you.
FWD.

Was he supposed to do 2 Beethoven Was Deaf shows and either never scheduled them or canceled them?

interesting setlist, i love the inclusion of the Quarry/Swords tracks, and the encore.

hopefully tomorrow fares better in terms of musicality and tenaciousness.

It's good to see Morrissey playing live again - I don't get this setlist tied to the Beethoven rerelease but maybe that was just bad marketing?
Do you mean it seems to have been tied to the re release? I think they were announced together and the re release was today, the first day of these shows, which many believe was really misleading - and he had signed copies there for sale, I think

Nothing on bonfire then…

I don’t want to be too much of a downer. Wasn’t my favourite set list but definitely a few great songs and the man himself was in great form. If you don’t… and why don’t you… were both great. I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw the video for crashing bores, but I think that was good too. Still smashes the majority of other bands I’ve seen out of the park.

Great crowd and vibe.

Looking forward to the next 3 shows and hoping for news on bonfire then, but after tonight I’m not optimistic.

Yeah, seems strange to me to announce live shows to coincide with a re-release and then play next to nothing from that release. Granted he never claimed he would be replaying the Beethoven setlist. I'll leave it at that - like I also said - it's nice to see him playing live again.

3 Beethoven and 5 Quarry tracks - the rehearsals for the then cancelled gigs probably explains some of those choices.

would be surprised if he changed it up much. Thanks for your reports from the frontline (y):)

Anyone looking for videos, check out Baby J's channel later tonight / tomorrow. He was there tonight and always has great quality videos.
