Recent successful Beethoven rerelease...
New management that is active on social media...
Upcoming ASAP collaboration that is sure to sell a bucket load and draw some new attention...
Lack of recent controversial comments...

The stars seem to be alining for a decent record deal.

Back in my hotel room. The show was lovely! Had some lady get pissed at me for nothing, but it's ok --- Ignore and move on!! My jaw hurts from smiling so much. My back hurts from dancing and jumping so much. The crowd sure was full of crashing bores. (Not everyone) But my focus was on the man on stage: Morrissey. What an amazing night. I am so tired. Today has been such a long day. I am so happy.

I took a couple of photos on my disposable camera, and only 1 with my phone:

What great energy he had the whole time! The band sounded great! I felt the music.... hard. And now my heart is full.

Yes it seems to be a thing with youngsters, my youngest has just bought a pack of them for our holidays next week. A couple of years ago we were chatting about what things were like when we were younger and mentioned how exciting it was waiting for your photos to come back after sending them to the developers and since then she takes disposable camera on holiday.

18 feels a bit short, I’m off to see the Stranglers (and Buzzcocks) at Halifax Piece Hall tonight ( Morrissey needs to play there as it’s a fantastic setting) and they will probably play around 28.

Absolutely. After the PR disaster of last year, this year things are definitely looking up. 4 lovely shows in Vegas, Moz looking and sounding great, and Bonfire back in his possession under new management with music industry nous. An announcement re Bonfire is undoubtedly coming, with probably some promotional shows to follow, explaining why Bonfire material almost entirely absent from the Vegas shows. And zero material from Without Music. For Bonfire - les yeux sont fait.

And to think I've just been woken by a nightmare about a retirement piece on Morrissey Central and brought my laptop upstairs to check on any announcements during the night. Pleased the shows have gone well.
