I was in the camp that these shows had nothing to do with a BOT/new record deal announcement. He did suggest the release is close - so that could either be yet more teasing his audience or there is a pending announcement. Anyone taking bets?

The show was soooo good. I didn’t record anything because I was so in the moment. No bonfire announcements and the same lineup as last week. He played all the smiths songs in the same set list as last week. He also smiled at me . See you guys tomorrow!!

My first thought of pulling back all BOT songs (besides telephone) from the setlist might be that he's saving them for an album tour now

This was my first Morrissey show and he turned it out. The commentary was especially cute.

I took it more as a "BTW while I have your attention" statement... so either it's more hot air or he has something in the works... but not necessarily related to these Vegas shows.
