Excerpt:

BMG Records have dropped Morrissey. Following the March 2020 release of I AM NOT A DOG ON A CHAIN
(#1 Scotland, #1 Poland, #3 Britain, #3 France, #10 Spain, #13 Germany, #2, #9, #17, #18 U.S.A. - depending
on which official chart you follow), BMG have appointed a new Executive who does not want another Morrissey
album. Instead, the new BMG Executive has announced new plans for 'diversity' within BMG's artist roster, and
all projected BMG Morrissey releases/reissues have been scrapped.

"This news is perfectly in keeping with the relentless galvanic horror of 2020," said Morrissey, "we would be critically insane to expect anything positive."

Morrissey is once again in search of a new label willing to release his music.

"My three albums with BMG have been the best of my career, and I stand by them till death. Recording them has been a pivotal period in my life, and I thank the previous BMG team and everyone involved for that. It's still important to me to do music my own way, and I wouldn't want to be on a label that dictates so specifically how their artists should behave - especially when the word 'talent' is notably never mentioned."

Morrissey's duet with David Bowie is now available on Parlophone via Warner.

"There are too many cases of successful artists languishing at labels who are no longer interested in them." Alistair Norbury, BMG.

Morrissey's Las Vegas residency remains in place for 2021.

You only need to switch on your TV to see that white presenters, newsreaders, actors in top roles and in adverts are being replaced by blacks.

You will not see a white couple or family in advertising in England now at all. We are being airbrushed from existence by a tribal group that hates us and has been working hard to destroy our country in every possible way for decades.

Have you never heard of diversity quotas? They exist in every industry now solely to sideline whites.

If you're white then prepare to lose your job at some point solely because of your skin colour.

You don't half dribble.

You'll be replaced by someone who leaves the house.

If you think the future of "the white race" is in jeopardy because a Sainsbury's ad features a black family, you're not mentally equipped to be making authoritative statements about current affairs.
It's every ad everywhere.

Anti whiteness has been institutionalized.

If you've got a job prepare to hand it over to a brutha any time soon.

Yes it’s a funny old world hovis..
I’m sat with a mug of tea, sugar free digestive biscuits, watching Fred Dibnah.... another sleepless night looms.....
a question for you... can a member on this site block you? And if so does this mean that if you reply to one of their posts, then your reply won’t be shown??

They can. It will be shown, but they won't see it.

No, there are businesses being simultaneously asked to down size and produce ‘a more diverse workforce’ simultaneously. I happen to work for one.
Yes, but the "diversity" thing was said in about 2017 when moz wasn't yet let go . When they were still selling his product . It had nothing to do with Morrissey . The "new" person who Morrissey mentions was also there a few years . That had nothing to do with anything .

Morrissey was not "dropped" he just wasn't picked up when the contract ended.

This is yet another Trump type Morrissey move . Its his Trump like despeartion and lies that have got people walking, just as much as the racist tag.

Jhow do you know i'm from ARGENTINA?? you are someone who always calls me a stalker ,and who call himself by different names ,"i think",aztec camera, and now you use this name Morrissey is always wrong you hurt me and not i knew it was so important so Moz and Ser and etc etc ,consider me as a threat ,what total stupidity your answer could not be more funny, you are for a galvanic experiment to make your morbid brain react jajajaaaa

The rebranded Brexit festival fights are keeping me up - but they're sort of funny. People who said Morrissey would be the headline act with Ann Widdecombe on spoons are having to pretend they didn't know they were part of it.

(mustn't link).

... and of course, again, it has nothing to do with him being quite difficult to deal with.

*all the fools say... morrissey have upset us
*morrissey say... so easy to upset these fools

He often makes remarkably measured comments that are described as rants or some such.

He looked disappointed at the decision of BMG, but also THANKED BMG for the 3 albums. I would say that his letter had both a polite and disappointed tone.

The pictures also stressed the idea that he has fans and were willingly cute.
And there was nothing there in the tone of "Boycott BMG, don't buy anything they release, they are the plague".

In short: it was not a furious letter (i.e, even if it seems unlikely to happen, it's not the kind of letter that should offend BMG in a way that they would think "we will never hire Morrissey again after that insulting letter").

That's not how it would work - if the story was going to stick they need that flag picture. The Future is not going to give a flying f**k about an old man wearing the badge of an obscure political party or about the Der Spiegel drama - which isn't a lie, the conversation was distorted - but it also won't mean a thing when those events aren't current.
No it wasn't, he said he never said what you can hear him say. Then he made out the tape was edited. It wasn't.
It's no big deal it's just Trump style BS. Just makes him look stupid.

The union Jack flag thing went in his favour in the end, as it showed he was ahead of the curve as a couple of years later suede and oasis were Union Jackimg

Look how big his come back was with Quarry. The good will. He still had that good will (pretty much) when low in HS came out.. But a it went down hill fast the moment he mention ukip on his BBC gig.. And he carried on, he carried on.

By the way, Echo were way cooler than the smiths back in the day.
Moz was always a little fairy trying to be a rebel. A wonderful pop star but a real wimp.

A couple of articles that popped into my Google News feed this morning. There are many more. The mainstream media have mostly picked up the story. But not The Guardian, oddly.
Trigger warning: if you don't like yer man being mocked, look away now.

"Everyone’s sick of Morrissey, including his label. The once-iconic singer has spent the last couple years torpedoing his reputation and career alike, tarnishing the legacy of his work by leaning into his most reactionary, racist takes. "

"In perhaps the least surprising news, indie icon turned far-right foghorn Morrissey has been dropped by his label BMG."

iv noticed that with adverts,it just seems that advertisers are trying too hard, bet most black people are bemused by this.the bbc are spending 100 million pounds of taxpayers money on diversity, all this money is going on programmes for black people, what about asians and other races, and the programmes are terrible, last night was about ovie,a failed contestant on love island and tonight we have the rap game which is basically 5 guys in a room talking about rap.

It isn't all 'going on programmes for black people.'

"The BBC has set itself a mandatory target - 20% of off-screen talent must come from under-represented groups.
That includes those with a disability or from a BAME or disadvantaged socio-economic background."

"There will also be three "tests" for diversity in the BBC's TV output, with programmes needing to meet two of them to qualify - diverse stories and portrayal on-screen, diverse production teams and talent and diverse-led production companies."

"In October last year, TV presenter and campaigner June Sarpong was appointed as the BBC's director of creative diversity, as it pledged to ensure 50% of on-air roles will go to women by 2020, with targets of 15% for black, Asian and minority ethnic groups [BAME], 8% for disabled people and 8% for LGBT staff.
Off air, the BBC promised at the time to increase the proportion of leadership roles filled by women from 44% to 50% by next year, and raise the share of such senior roles held by BAME staff from 11.5% to 15%."

You do know that these sites anticipate you, and make their money from your interest in Morrissey’s misfortune? It’s nothing new, the media has been cashing in on mocking Morrissey since 1983.
