The "Low In High School" World Tour has been Morrissey’s most successful tour to date, having achieved record business for the artist in both the U.S. and the UK.
I think that statement says it all Morrissey is still very popular on both sides of the Atlantic.
Morrissey's manager Peter Katsis, of Deckstar Management, explained that Dave Haslam was never a Morrissey fan and said that he has an agenda. It is good to know that Morrissey has a good management team behind him.
I have crying about this because I don't want this to put Morrissey off coming to the UK in the future. I believe there are many in the UK who still love Morrissey. I still think that Morrissey is a good man.
I don't totally agree with Morrissey about the British Royal family in that I don't want to get rid of the Royals totally because I'm frightened with what they will be replaced with like a President? I'm not a true Royalist I'm just indifferent about them.
I agree with Morrissey on some of his views. I'm glad that we still have freedom of speech (of sorts) in Britain.
I think that Morrissey was right to speak out about the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan. In my view this isn't really to do with Sadiq Khan's voice/accent or the way that he speaks it's to do with what is going on in London. I don't think that so far Sadiq Khan has done a good job as Mayor of London. Since Sadiq Khan has become the Mayor of London violent crime has gone up a lot in London like shootings, stabbings and gang culture. Sadly, the victims are often very young men and teenagers! I just hope that Sadiq Khan is able to fight the building of the third runway at Heathrow airport but I have my doubts. I'm very against the third runway at Heathrow airport. The environment (air quality) and sound pollution in London is getting worse and worse. Also there are more homeless on the streets of London these days.
The fact that Morrissey doesn't support the "Me Too" movement doesn't bother me at all. I'm a woman and I don't support this movement either. It just seems to be a movement for the more privileged elite women like Hollywood actresses rather than normal, everyday women and it all seems to revolve around 'Twitter'. I don't understand 'Twitter'. This doesn't mean that Morrissey is sexist or misogynistic in anyway. I know that Morrissey treats women with much respect I think much more than a lot of men do. I'm sure that Morrissey is totally against violence towards women and the sexual abuse of women. At onetime Morrissey got labeled as a 'male feminist'.
I also don't understand why people like Dave Haslam are trying to imply that Morrissey is xenophobic, racist and Islamophobic. Morrissey has actually spoken out against racism!! I'm against Islamic extremism (terrorism) in Britain. I think Morrissey is just trying to speak out about it that is all.
I'm a born-again, Bible-believing Christian. I'm not a 'Roman Catholic' I don't support that system. I'm not a Calvinist (follower of John Calvin) either. So I'm not a 'Protestant' in that sense. Calvinism/Reformed/Presbyterian are basically the same thing and I'm not part of that. Arminianism which is named after Jacobus Arminius is the opposite of Calvinism and I'm not part of that either. I'm a follower of Lord Jesus Christ! I like the King James Bible (1611 version) best I go to an independent Baptist church.
I'm against the Roman Catholic Church system (and the Jesuits), Islamic extremism, Communism, Fascism and the New Age Movement (which came out of the 'New Thought' Movement). What people might not know is that the New Age Movement and New Age spirituality is now part of the 'United Nations' (UN) that is why I'm now wary of the United Nations.
I support the Jewish State of Israel like Morrissey does. I wouldn't call myself a 'Zionist' though and I'm not part of the elite. I don't support violence on either side.
I like that Morrissey has compassion for animals and that he cares about animal welfare.
I'm sure that Morrissey is totally against paedophilia and all forms of child abuse. I really hate child abuse in all it's forms. I think that Morrissey was abused or molested in some way when he was a child that will make him more against it.
I'm confused about this whole 'far-right' and 'alt-right' thing because when you look into these political groups and people that Morrissey supports you find that they are not 'far-right' in the traditional sense. They are just against Islamic extremism in Britain and against the Islamisation of Britain and the Western world and they care about animal welfare and freedom of speech.
Dave Haslam has accused Morrissey of being like Donald Trump. Others are saying Morrissey is like Katie Hopkins. Who cares? I'm not a Trump supporter but some of what says makes sense. I know that Donald Trump has some support within the Christian community.
I support the Liberal Democrats (Lib Dems) we are actually in favour of staying in the EU. I'm sick of how this 'Brexit' thing has divided Britain. I'm guessing that Morrissey is in favour of 'Brexit' but I don't know that for sure. My Christian faith is much more important to me than worldly politics is!
I love soul music mainly from the 1960s and 1970s and some reggae like 'Roots' reggae so I might be different to Morrissey in that way.
I don't like the other former members of The Smiths. I used to think that Johnny Marr was alright but in more recent times I don't like what he has been saying about Moz. Andy Rourke and his former manager Nova Rehman really frighten me. Some might not be aware of the Manchester singer Rowetta but I know that she has hatred for Morrissey and that she can be rude at times. I believe that Dave Haslam is also part of that nasty, elitist indie rock/alternative rock scene in Manchester.
Morrissey still sings great songs and his new album is amazing! His music is better than ever in my view. I also like Elvis Presley and some others.
Morrissey might not be a Christian but he has support within the Christian community. There are Christians that are praying for him.
