However -why hide it- the title "Zoom Zoom, the little boy" excites me very much.
Is Zoom Zoom the actual name of the boy (sexay!), or just the sound he makes? Is it, as some have suggested, a song about James Dean, or, as I'd like it to be, a photographic song about The Nephew?
And, more importantly, does ZoomZoom feature in "The Amazing Mauricey", or is it just Miley Souris, Princess Fion-Fion ( that's rude, btw) , and a bunch of rats again?

That will surely get to #1 on the HIT PARADE. I understand there's also an E.P. with a song entitled "Only Crumbs Left In The Biscuit Barrel". I haven't heard it yet.

Most of the titles sound like a direct continuation of the drivel that was Kerouac's Crack. And could Suspicious Minds be anything else than a cover -- the fact that they can't get even the credits right just shows the competence of everyone involved.

I strongly suspect (SUSPICION!) they used all the previous songs nobody heard : changed the titles, a couple of words, a couple of notes and Alain went aaa-aahh instead of ooh-OH ! here and there, and Mob's your uncle, brand new album! And they can't be sued for breach of contract or whatever ( the legal stuff bores me, I'm an artistic mutt).

-I'm looking for a new title for "Saint in a stained glass window".
-Hey let me help: how about... "The Harlem Globe Trotters"?

It is very poor. IMO not as cheap looking at the Californian Son cover. The sun rays around his head look like they've been cut and pasted from an image created some time around 1991. You can also see some of his shirt collar each side of his neck.

Oh yes, now you mention it, I think this came up before (possibly once or twice!). Rogan's book dates the photo to January 1980 at a time of working in a hospital as a 'flesh remover', but in Autobiography it seems to me that the hospital job was for a few weeks in 1977. I agree with you on the similarity to the Piccadilly Palare single cover photo, although that one seems more guarded or even hostile.
Whilst I'm here, a few thoughts on the track titles come to mind. If the Pop Dropped one is about Elvis, it's strange that Elvis' death isn't mentioned in Autobiography - I would have expected it to be a big deal at the time. On Zoom Zoom, there was a long-running Mazda commercial that featured a little boy whispering 'zoom zoom' from about 2000. On Notre-Dame, there's a Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football team in Indiana. On Happy New Tears, there's a Dutch DJ by that name. Any relevance to the new album? hope not!

Reminds me when I first saw someone in a "Notre Dame" sweatshirt , I thought, "Gee that's a very sporty look, for a Christian."
Fighting Irish football, isn't that just normal Irish guys in a pub on a Friday night? I have no doubt M could write a song about that, just wondering if he has room for a Muslim in the mêlée.
