He's never discussed it.
Lionel, people not discussing your opinions with you has nothing to do with women of colour.
But the movement you support is racist and you are ok with that. What does that make you?

Perfectly expressed. The rigidity of it and this desperate need to label everybody is what has led to this culture of screeching and shouting each other down and being unable to appreciate any nuance to a viewpoint or situation. I have never been quite sure of where I stand on gender issues... I have conflicted feelings about it and would find it difficult to express my thoughts if I was put on the spot in my daily life. It wouldn't surprise me if Moz had some conflict or confusion around it as well.I think he's into a gender movement that seems to have sadly fallen by the wayside in the modern debate, a movement which was about breaking down rigid stereotypes, categories and norms about what men and women should be. Rather than reinforcing stereotypes and creating a new set of boxes to shove people in, which seems to be the "modern" movement.
But the movement you support is racist and you are ok with that. What does that make you?
I have literally demonstrated why the movement is racist and you choose to put your fingers in your ears.Yeah - I don't think you can pretend to have any sincere interest in this topic after that shitpost.

You're trying to claim he belongs to a movement that he's never discussed that has positions that would be against him.
There's no shortage of people who are talking about it, so I don't see the need.

I think if the muddled middle had more voice and more space to take part in the gender discussion, nobody would be expecting an onslaught the moment they opened their mouth. It's not going to happen though. It's a culture 'war' and you have to pick a side. Bleak.I can also fully understand why any celeb chooses to stay out of the debate given onslaught on anyone that does join it. Kudos to those that have the courage of their convictions and at great personal cost though.
And you will find endless articles saying the gender critical movement is racist.

Hard agree. A celeb only has to ask polite questions about this and they get that onslaught.I think if the muddled middle had more voice and more space to take part in the gender discussion, nobody would be expecting an onslaught the moment they opened their mouth. For someone that feels no need to talk about it, you are talking about it a lot. Not answering any questions though. And you will find endless articles saying the gender critical movement is racist.

The link I posted wasn’t a news article though, for Christs sake. Read it. It’s a statement by the Black Women’s Caucus.
You do know the Michfest music festival led to a transwoman murdering two lesbians and their son? Unfortunately only one side was doing the dying there.
That's a small sex-based rights organisation - all of the bigger feminist groups are intersectional.
For someone that feels no need to talk about it, you are talking about it a lot. Not answering any questions though.

The topic is Morrissey's view of gender identity.
Except you really want to talk about your view of it.
Well you have asked me lots of questions about my views (high heels etc). But you refuse to answer questions about your views. Because you know it will incriminate yourself.

You asked me more broadly about drag around children in school. Did you forget that?I asked you about Morrissey's video.

For some reason you also started talking about Eddie Izzard which was hardly on topic…
Answer the questions.
