Miley Cyrus now wants to be taken off the song ‘I Am Veronica’ for which she volunteered backing vocals almost two years ago. This comes at a time when Morrissey has disassociated himself with Capitol Records (Los Angeles), who control the hidden album ‘Bonfire of Teenagers’.

Morrissey doesn’t come out of this smelling of roses: that Central post has hung Miley Cyrus out to dry, without sharing any details that would afford any balanced judgement.

Social media numbers don't determine decency. And record companies are in it for the money; we certainly don't expect them to determine it either.

In her defense, she was vegan for a time and I think is now pescetarian. She's also said she doesn't want children for ethical reasons. So she's not a moral degenerate; she just acts like one in public.

It's actually a real shame, because she is talented with an incredibly unique & impressive voice.

At this rate the long awaited mysteriously millenia-gestating new Cure album will arrive with less drama than the slow burning Bonfire.

I don't think we'll see either of these albums. I don't really care either. The Cure are so damn lazy when it comes to new material. I've long given up on hearing it. And BOT didn't stir me much anyway other that I Am Veronica.

Bring on the next session in France with Alain's compositions and the realisation that if you want something done right then.... you know the rest

She's not a role model. She's just a singer, nothing more. But yes she is awful.

The state of Morrissey’s career is sad beyond words. He should be revered as a living legend, one of a kind, and his career should reflect this. Instead, he is shunned and reviled, his career is in shambles and and run by mentally challenged yes-men with no skills whatsoever and no idea how to manage a recording artist, and he himself is seemingly only interested in self-destruction. I can’t believe that this just keeps happening.

Everyone here seems to be getting overly dramatic about how overly dramatic Morrissey is. Morrissey will be fine. This is just yet another blip on the radar of a career most would die for.

Trouble loves him.

True. None of this equates to "the sky is falling" level of drama that Morrissey and Central have been putting forward basically since the Greek theater walk-off. It's been handled piss poorly but it really sounds like little more than a setback that will eventually be worked out.
